Perhaps this info can be added to the announcement to make sure everyone keeps looking for alternatives.... |

There was a satellite feed capper for the festival but unfortunately the sat feed was turned off after Fergie's set. So hopefully someone else will show up with a proper TV cap. In the meantime, I've found a tv audio recording of the show in FLAC and can use to patch the show later. I'm also waiting for the radio audio to be uploaded by other fan. Even tho the radio audio is 48kbps it sounds better than the tv audio where Adam's vocals were very muddy. In the radio recording his voice is very clear - only thing is it has djs talking between songs. edit: btw I wrote to the capper of this video yesterday and the lineage is NOS BOX > Avermedia Game Capture II |

Watching Break Free now... Brian is just so happy. Not only that, but he plays the song completely unlike the way he did in the 80s. He's just so at peace with what Queen means to him. Compare this to the vibrant yet slightly insecure man in the early 90s wanting to divorce himself from all things Queen. The older he gets, the more his guitar playing sounds like a consummate English gentleman having a conversation. He has no need to play the Break Free solo like Wembley 86. Less is more, and what we hear in 2016 is exactly the person he is. I just might have to watch this entire show to tap into this. |

Sadly the Mika video from DIME was from the livestream and Queen's show wasn't livestreamed as the management had an agreement with the organisers not to air in respect for other promoters in their European tour :(

I'm trying to fix the glitches in this video with different video/audio source. If anyone has watched the video fully, can you let me know if there are any other glitches besides Fat Bottomed Girls? |

It would be great if this could be donne. |

Queen uploaded "I want to break free" from Lisbon on their YT channel. It only has the Queen logo at the bottom and it sounds great: link |

Last Horizon, at 76:02 to 76:08... My heart literally stopped. His phrasing is just exquisite. Little bits like this have more feeling than the entire careers of guys like Steve Vai and Joe Satriani combined. |

I thought this file was a proper TV cap. Terraj stated in a previous post that the lineage is NOS BOX. This means that this file was captured from the TV broadcast, because that box is the provider of the cable channels, and is where the recorded programs are stored. My doubt was because people told me that the HiDef version of this concert was blocked from recording by the box service provider, only the "normal" version was allowed to. So i guess this user found a way of recording this show in HiDef from the Box and that's fantastic! |
brians wig 26.05.2016 14:41 |
The "TV Broadcast" WAS shown online. That's how I watched it! Links were posted here at the time. link |
Double-U 26.05.2016 14:52 |
Whatever, the audience is fantastic. Singing along with full power and clapping the hands whenever it fits. The speach before I Want To Break about the one and only Freddie was a warm Tribute but in my opinion left a whole because this was the best chance to honour John Deacon, too. They enjoy the show very much and that's what you can see and hear. By the way, does anybody know if the versions which pop up on DIME are from the same source with the sound and picture problems during the beginning of Fat Bottomed Girls? I can't wait to read the response after their gig in Sweden where a lot of metal heads will join the festival with bands like Mayhem, Satyricon and Finntroll on the bill. best regards, W. |

brians wig wrote: The "TV Broadcast" WAS shown online. That's how I watched it! Links were posted here at the time. linkI cannot even open your link because it's blocked by "judicial or administrative order". As i told in my last reply, those online links were shared by the fans, not by the TV. This TV station doesn't have an online streaming service. And sites like chabka are constantly being blocked. I use this same sites to watch some Tennis. This HiDef file came from the Nos Box according to the lineage shared by Terraj, therefore this is a proper TV cap and not an internet one. The confusion might be from the TXT file where it says "Whipped this off the internets, a HDTV rip of the live broadcast." It only means that the OP downloaded this file from the internet and shared it here, but the file itself is from the cable TV signal. |

Mr.QueenFan wrote:It is a TV cap. Just that it's not "proper" in the sense that there's a huge glitch during FBG. I've fixed the glitch using a lower quality source and you can't really tell the difference in the audio now (but I used a LQ video source so visually a few seconds are blurry). I also muxed in the radio audio feed. Will upload after I QC.terraj wrote: So hopefully someone else will show up with a proper TV cap. .What do you mean by this?
