and removed as much of the screen artifacts, stray pixels / dots and movement striping as i could, then colour corrected. (I also started rebuilding missing bits of the Frames and stabilizing but got bored) some images: link It looks very over processed (Because it is) but here's the sample if anyone wants to give an opinion. link |

Sound - horrible, but I hope it's just a "temp" track. Image stabilization - fantastic. Can I ask what did you use? Any automatic stabilizer I tried to use crops way too much of the image to be acceptable for me. Your stabilisation was great. Colour correction - you removed the green tint, which is good (assuming the left part of the screen is your work), but the resulting image is too "flat". I recommend playing with things like contrast and saturation. Detail - why does your video lack so much detail? Was it because of your original copy or because you considered the "surface structure" of the screen as noise or a combination of both? Interesting work. |

Your stabilisation was great.*** Thank you, i put the Section(s) i wanted to stablize into After effects and made my own border on a seprate layer. Then I used the warp stabliser with no croping (Which sends the video shooting around the work area rather than cropping it, and manually adjusted to keep it centered when it "jumped". Other times i just centered the frame as i went along in photoshop. **why does your video lack so much detail? Vast improvement, although the crop is a bit messed up making Freddie look fatter in the remaster. Overall a great job though. |

Yes, mine is svcd sourced, i didn't bother updating because i didn't think it was worth it. The aspect ratio problem should be fixed when it's on it's own in full screen link. |

it's 480 x 576, but as we are talking about Crappy big screen recorded by a Video8 camcorder put on to VHS i never bothered. |

So I assume that this is the current best available source except from the original tapes?  -Chin |
