Dear Queenzone friends, I'm writing an article, for an Italian webzine called Mat2020, about "The Magic Tour".
It's all done for passion and not for money. The webzine, written in Italian language, is totally free, and it can be downloaded from here, after a simple registration.
I would like to ask if someone of you, that was at any 1986 show, has made photos, and would be so kind to let me use a few of them in the article that I'm writing.
Of course, I will mention the owner of the photos in the article, and I will give him a copy of the web magazine.
In attachment you can find my article (again in Italian language - sorry) about the Who concert in London, which I attended on the last February, that was published in the March April number of the web magazine.
Thanks a lot if someone can help me.
A user on this forum called The Kurgan took a few shots in Wembley and Knebworth. He shared them here - link , link . You have to register on TheTradersDen to access his albums though. I suppose you could contact him and ask for permission.
Just to advise you (incase you don't know already) the pm system on here does not work properly and does not notify you of replies. You have to check periodically to see if you have any messages.
I have many other unpublished photos from the Magic Tour.
Unfortunately I have lost contact with the guy who took them, he was a professional photographer from Dortmund who stayed at my house whilst over for the tribute concert.
He gave me some beautiful photos he took at Dortmund in 1980, Hannover and Kassel in '82 as well as Cologne in '86
If I ever manage to contact him and get his permission I will upload them at TTD.
Also see this thread for more Knebworth photos: http://www.queenconcerts.com/queenzone/1233501.html

If you need help finding that person in Germany, I would like to offer my help. Of course I wouldn't try to get any material/ photos out of that person, that goes without saying.

I found him now thanks and I am awaiting his response.
Nice scans!
And finally... here is the webzine with the article (in Italian language): link It requires a free and fast registration
If somebody is interested only in the article write me a P.M.
Thank you guys!
At the moment we have only the Italian version... And for me it's difficult to translate all the article...
Anyway, I have to say that there isn't anyhing really new in my article. I took the information from what I've heard in the bottlegs, and from the wonderful queenlive.ca and queenconcerts.com websites, and from the Greg book.
I just wrote it in a simple and (I hope) tasty article for many Italian Queen fans that can't understand English very well, and don't know the "Magic" world of bootlegs ;)
