I'm almost embarrassed to inflict this upon you as it's perhaps the worst sounding tape in my collection, but I have been asked to upload it.
I've never managed to get very far into this tape, as my ears start to complain fairly early on.
I think all the copies of this gig are pretty dire quality wise, so here's another to add to that list.
This transfer might need speed correcting (if somebody can be bothered) or It might just need throwing in the bin.
You have been warned!

Sounds slightly slower, but nothing really bad. The sound is OK, still pretty bad but much more enjoyable than your previous transfer.
Funny how different various transfers of the same tape can sound.
Thanks a lot for the share.
PS never even joke about thrashing a Queen tape :)
I just compared with Brian Wig version, this one has much less tape hiss and the band sounds much less distant. Well, it does not still sound great (about B-) with much distorsion but it is a huge improvement over previous versions.
Well, I've got another tape of this amongst a collection I bought a few years ago from a guy who was collecting tapes in the 70's, so will dig it out and have a listen.
There are around 260 tapes to work my way through (about 80 of them are interview tapes), but the plan is/was to upload samples to Wizard/Sir GH or whatever he calls himself these days to check out.
Wow, Brians wig ! So you are the one who broke into Brian's apartment couple of years ago and grabbed those tapes... I guess we can never thank you enough ! :-)
Thank you Kurgan for making this and other new transfers!
The tape is quite good, and this new transfer makes it shine.
I believe the acoustics of St.George's Hall and the position of the taper contributes to distorted sound more than technical issues.
