Queen
Leiden, Netherlands
Groenoordhallen
November 27, 1980
This is a previously uncirculated second audience source from Queen's first of many great gigs at the Groenoordhallen in Leiden. Some bits are missing from the beginning and end of the show, but the bulk of it is there. It's actually a pretty pleasant listen. The crowd sings along to nearly every note.
This show is a bit of a sore spot because we know there is a great-sounding audience tape in existence, but only about an hour of it has circulated on bootleg LPs for decades (an uncut copy of that source does exist, but it's about a 3,495th generation copy). So this serves as a good companion to those copies. link link

Enjoy, and keep it lossless !
Sorry, folks - I goofed up a bit.
In my original share, it turns out the end of We Are The Champions had the inferior copy tagged on for the last minute.
If you grabbed the version that's 3:32 in length, for purist's sake I've attached one to this post that's 2:33, consisting only of the single audience source (and a replacement info file). Just replace these files with the originals and you're good to go.
I know the drill - it won't be reflected on this week's cheque, but next week's. ;)
Enjoy this tape ! It's quickly become one of my favourites from 1980.

I'm replacing the original link as we speak. Oops, I downloaded it first thing this morning! :)
Thanks for the quick fix though :)

BTW, in the description above the GDML is missing :)
Clearly this is why you shouldn't do these things in the wee hours of the morning.
Thanks for pointing it out ! Here's a corrected info file for anyone who cares:
Thanks Bob. I have a problem. I tried to get the zip file three times and the file won't extract correctly, it looks like it is damaged. Anyone else has this problem?

Mine extracted fine, try changing the .zip extension to .rar by renaming it.

Bizarre. Try what Chin suggested, but if you're still having trouble I can upload the file again ! Let me know.

No chance, I changed the extension from zip to rar and still the same problem, just like I'm trying to extract an incomplete zip file. But the download really end at 100%.
