Yes, the very first chapter. I highly recommend the book as some of the stories told by Ratty, are not that well known, for example (demolishing a few things in a hotel the band was staying at the time).

It's chapter one from his book, and an excellent read indeed. I never get tired reading that book
Interesting. Are you aware this could be utilized in other realms of society? As crude as the implementation has been, methods of keeping men awake for unusual amounts of time while alert have been an enterprise for many a scientific mind wishing to achieve the most in their lifetimes.
This book could possibly be THE KEY to eliminating the need for so much unnecessary sleep. This is amazing! ...
.. is this book available to the general public?

Great read, thanks! Now I want to read the whole book.
In the comments, one person (Marilyn Jay) mentions a show in Canada which I had no idea about. Here's the relevant quote:
"I have no idea what Queen was doing in Toronto Canada playing a one-night gig at a scruffy local hotel bar. They seemed to have no visible roadies or hangers-on at the time. Only time-line I can give is the early to mid ‘70s."
I checked queenconcerts and found no references to a show in such a small venue. All the shows there were in big arenas, and in the mid to late 70s.
Since she also mentions meeting Freddie and inviting him to her house, I'm tempted to think this was just a fantasy... what do you think?
She may have the wrong city or the wrong band. Or maybe it's creative story telling about a time many drugs ago.
Or maybe Queen were just around and played a low key gig that 12 people attended.
It's extremely unlikely, but stranger things have happened.
