I dont know why he wastes his time producing this shit, over and over again, why cant he retire with a modicum of dignity, instead of constantly tarnishing his,and 'Queen's legacy?
I agree. The woman has a terrible voice for pop-rock and all these recordings sound so substandard it hurts. Mediocre, hookless pop music for everybody and nobody at the same time. Sorry Brian, but this is just awful.

I'm all in favour of people expressing things as they please, but the idea of "tarnishing a legacy" is just not based in reality.
Tarnishing a legacy means you are deleting Queen records from history.
Even after Gary Glitter diddled kids and was at the bottom of the prison totem pole, Rock And Roll Part 2 still exists and kicks ass, and that will be his musical legacy.
And likewise Brian May will always be a guitarist who created wonderful music in Queen, no matter what he does from here onward.
Hes tarnishing 'Queen's legacy by keep supporting artists with sub-standard voices, murdering 'Queen' classics, and releasing sub-standard songs, and expecting us to like it,because he was once the guitarist in the greatest band in history! The music of 'Queen' brought us all together, not this crap. Thanks!

Completely disagree about the Glitter comparison. Legacy exists first and foremost in people's minds and in my mind Glitter has none of it left. Couldn't give a shit about this peado's music since his crimes were revealed. Legacy is also strongly related to reputation and the more stuff like this Brian puts out there, the more it affects his overall picture in people's minds. Thank God Queen never got embroiled in anything like the stuff you brought up, because I think you'd see their shares plummet real quick.
It's crap. Very crap. Sounds exactly like the Kissing You thing they only just released.
I'd listen to these songs if Brian was doing them on his own just for the joy of hearing him still working, but her voice makes me ill. I skip to the solos every time.

I don't mind her voice the way some here seem to, but I totally agree that this is too similar to The Kissing Me Song.

How can a song that isn't released under the Queen name tarnish the Queen legacy.
And as Mr Wizard says you can't tarnish what exists For all to hear in it's original form.

Debatable. The Robbie Williams/PInk/Beyonce/Britney shit cheapened the original so I'd argue, very lightly, that anything that diminishes the original tarnishes the legacy. As I say, debatable.
There are aspects of it I like but, by and large, it doesn't really grab me in the way Brain's songs used to. Honestly, I haven't cared for much of anything he's made since 'Dream of Thee' if I'm being honest. Not that I have outwardly hated all of it either. There are always aspects I like - a guitar line here, a harmony there - and for those brief moments, I'll think of the Brian May of the past and be totally into what he's doing, but then those feelings will die in the next instance, and I'll just be left indifferent. Which is a feeling I fucking loathe. I would much rather passionately hate something than feel nothing for it at all, and that's sadly what Brian's musical output has been for me in the last decade plus. I still have mountains of respect for the guy, but I also don't eagerly await new music from him anymore.
