No, not Queen. Metallica.

QPL - please, can you "inspire" yourselves ? :-)
Releasing a definitive boxset for each album and scraping the barrel is the last thing they'll do. Sadly that stuff will be released when they're all gone.
The most anally perfectionist group in the world won't release stuff they're not happy with and let's face it, Brian is probably not up to reworking the songs in the vault as he's too busy with his other endeavors.
Let's pray for another awesome live boxset a la Rainbow and see where it goes from there.
Unless you can set up an Anthology-petition and if it gets enough signatures, with people vowing to buy it, then maybe....MAYBE you'll have a shot. ;)
I'm not a huge fan of "Kill Em' All", but I can see why fans of raw trash metal love it so much.
I'd be more interested in the "Ride The Lighting" box set. I believe this was the album that showcased that Metallica was more than just a kick-ass hardcore metal band. 'Ride The Lighting' added more elements of progressive rock to a metal mix, which at the time many metal fans were not fond of, particularly with 'Fade To Black' that to some of them sounded like a ballad.
I'm not exactly the biggest fan of Metallica out there, but some of their songs are really nice. And the band is doing good some things, like filming random songs of their shows and uploading them in YT, sometimes even the entire gig and selling the audio of all their shows online.
In that regard, a lot of bands has to learn from them in what to give to the fans.
