Ok, so as i was watching this clip of Freddie talking about Brian: link
at around 1:11m mark Freddie started to talk about ITTWWC. Basically he says that Brian got on acoustic, and Freddie sat down next to him, and the song was donne in a couple of days because that's all the time they had to finish the album.
Freddie also states that he came up with the lyrics and Brian with the chords.
I just don't see how a piano version of this song exists! Freddie couldn't be bothered to learn or even remember his old songs like "Love of my life" (he himself said this is an interview), so i don't think he would record a piano version of this song AFTER it was recorded with an acoustic guitar. And i can't see a reason for Brian to transpose this music to piano AFTER the song was recorded.
My question is:
Does anyone ever heard the piano version or have a better story to contradict Freddie's recollection of what happened in the studio, or is this piano version just a myth?
This version, at least, it's more of a fan made mix than an interpretation by Freddie.
His style of playing was more rhythmic, which doesn't means he'll play normal chords at the rhythm of the song.
Also, that end is not even demo-ish. It's more like amateur.
