Happy New Year dear Queenfans !!
Cheers everybody.
I have completed version 9 of the Queenzone Queenconcerts Database.
There are added 203 new "shares" from last year.
No new options this time. I think this whole thing is working well as it is now.
I thought I post it in a new topic to give it some attention to people who don't know about this project.
For more info take also a look into this topic: http://www.queenconcerts.com/queenzone/1313741.html
Please let me know if something is not working or you are missing some queenzone-shares or some files are not working.
When I have some time later in 2016, I will make another update ofcourse :)
Have fun with it :)
Here is a direct link to the new database: http://bit.ly/1mTisKr
The newer versions of Excel there can give some safety-warning messages.
This is because I have used some macro's to let all buttons work in the right order.
Trust this excel file if you want to use it.
Some remarks from last year:
BETA215 wrote:
An Inglewood 8mm recording (1977-03-02) is listed as a Montreal one.
And a Paris professional video recording (from Magic Tour) with only a portion of One Vision is listed as a Frejus one (1986-07-30).
I know that they're almost unsignificant corrections, but I think it worth pointing them out.
I don't know what you mean with these remarks, please explain what is wrong and how to correct it so I can take this up in version 10.
Especially thanks for everybody who has shared his/her recordings last year !!
Without it there was no reason to make a new version ;)
Hey, thank you very much for this great project! I admire your constancy in this series of Excel files.
About the remark, what I tried to mean is that in your Excel file you have some mistakes:
There's a Montreal 1977 8mm recording in your Excel file, but the information about the date and the place are wrong. The video is from Inglewood (1977-03-02).
The same happens with a video that's supposedly from Frejus 1986 (which contains a section of One Vision). That video is from the Paris show, of the same tour.
As the taper of QPR Cardiff 05 (link, I can give the lineage - assuming that the circulating version originates from a flac trade and not the uploaded mp3...
It was a Rockboxed iRiver H140 - with some slight level boosting in Goldwave, tracks split and converted to flac.
Worryingly, I can find neither the original files or the info file....so the above is from memory, albeit it will be correct.
Hey bokkepoot, just two minor mistakes I noticed :)
-You didn't include Chief Mouses New Haven 1982 remaster
-For the the Leiden 11/6/1986 4th audience source, you labeled it as 12/6 :)
Also would you happen to have Tear it up from Paris 1986 which comes from a report on Brian's tour and solo album in 1993? :)
Everything else is great! Thanks!!
