Queen: From Rags to Rhapsody. BBC Documentary To mark the 40th anniversary of Bohemian Rhapsody, this documentary digs deep into archive to tell the story of Queen as it follows their journey from a struggling band gigging at pubs and colleges to the moment they captured the UK's hearts and minds with what was to become one of - if not the - greatest song of all time. Queen's formative years have never been explored in such detail. With a wealth of unseen interviews, recently unearthed rushes of Queen's first ever video and outtakes from the recording sessions of Bohemian Rhapsody itself, this is the unique story of early Queen, told by the band themselves. This documentary completes the final part of the trilogy alongside Days of Our Lives and Freddie Mercury: The Great Pretender. It's simple. It's real. It's raw. It's what happened. Enjoy. Great documentart and lived the footage from Earls Court and Hyde Park. Looks and sounds like they're being 'fixed' so I'd say a definite for release in some form. One slight moan about the documentary. Lambert wormed hus way onto it. |

Here's much better copy of mine, I recorded it in 1080p/60fps (some of new bits are in 60fps) from BBC website stream, but sadly my internet connection died for a minute in the middle of Live Aid performance of BohRap. Can anyone post mediainfo on the files posted here (file size, codec, resolution, bitrate etc), the info that for example MPC gives on properties? Also, what are the sources of the files? Internet streams or they are really from tv? Barry, did you managed to record it as discussed in the post in the general forum? |

Now I'm Here sounded a bit different, especially the harmonies. Did they use the track from the BBC Sessions or was it just a different mix only used for this performance? Overall it feels less cohesive than the DOOL documentary i must say. Luckily it was only the band talking this time and no annoying journalists and dj's. :D |

It was his spare guitar at the time. Maybe he was thinking it'd be cool to look like Jimmy Page? He was big into Zeppelin then. Queen saw them a couple months later at the LA Forum, and it was a pretty major life event for him. |

What if someone who recorded the program like on "Sky + HD" could maybe use a DVD Recorder and just record onto a disc? Not sure if that would be any good or not but it would be a good attempt. And that is no good because "the video paused because of not perfect internet connection" so that is a video screen capture.
