Freddie was obviously an extraordianry lead singer, but he was also quite magnificent when it came to singing backing vocals. Some of my favourite bits per album:
* Queen: 'My Fairy King' (end of the first verse, as it were).
* Queen II: 'White Queen' (angelical choir).
* Sheer Heart Attack: 'Lily of the Valley' (climax).
* A Night at the Opera: ''39'
* A Day at the Races: 'You and I' (the 'moonlight' bit).
* News of the World: 'All Dead, All Dead' (last chorus).
* Jazz: 'Bicycle Race' (bass voice just before the break).
* The Game: 'Need Your Loving Tonight' (refrain).
* Flash Gordon: 'The Kiss' (just ... the whole thing).
* Hot Space: 'Life Is Real' (climax).
* The Works: 'It's a Hard Life' (last chorus).
* A Kind of Magic: 'Princes of the Universe' (first break).
* The Miracle: 'Was It All Worth It' ('surrealistic').
* Innuendo: 'All God's People' (break).
