This is from pittrek's youTube channel. Does anybody know where does this video come from? There are some ducth subtitles, but I can't understand what's the source.
Any idea?
Thanks.
Thanks :-) No idea (re: doc/TV show) but the footage is interesting - I could be wrong but it looks too short to be part of a doc - maybe a slot in some Dutch TV programme or Dutch news slot? Can anyone identify the presenter?
This footage is usually "distributed" together with the report about the January concerts, but of course this was shot much later.
Brian talks about how they received a platinum disc in the Netherlands for CLTCL, is anybody of you guys able to find the date for this? The footage might be taken from some "afterparty" after they received the award
The interview was done by Lex Harding, from Veronica's Countdown. He is an huge Queen fan. This interview was broadcast semi live and repeated many times. Veronica tv and radio station were in those days very pro Queen! They even had some footage of the Odeon Show, back in 1975. Which is very unique as no any other broadcast with music programs didn't had that acces for such footage, not even a snippet.

Pfff Depex. no I'm afraid not, sorry, I don't have any the footage from The Odeon, that was 1975, in that year, In those days we did not own a videorecorder. But maybe it is worth while to adress Veronica, which is owned by the SBS GROUP.

It absolutely is.
Pretty sure it was in October 1979.
Funny, I just found 10 more personal messages from december. Didn't the forum software send email notifications in the past ? OK, I"m going to check it

The golden record presentation is from the Crazy Hat party in London at the Legends Club on dec 13th 1979 after their concert at the Lyceum Ballroom. The interview also is from the same date : the interveiw with Brian May with the rabbit on his hat....hence Crazy Hat party ;-)

Don't worry. I don't receive any notification mail too.
"Six or seven tracks in the can at the moment"...
Interesting - according to the liner notes, apparently only 4 tracks of the 1979 sessions finally ended up on "The Game" (CLTCL, Sail Away Sweet Sister, Coming Soon, Save Me).
