What does this mean?

01.12.2015 16:10		 It means that the value of the British pound had decreased compared to foreign monetary units. In essence, it makes the British pounds in your wallet worth less. In other words: bad news.

I always heard it as "so your belt has dropped and the children are fellating".... is that not right?!!
