Surely this isn't a recording from the vinyl... or is it like that on vinyl? Looks like someone pointed their phone microphone to the speakers and recorded it.
It is official. It is less than one month old. Even a recording from speakers really should not be on Queenzone.
Then again, it might convince some to buy the super de duper box set.

If they'd put a lot more of the soundcheck into the box (or all of it), then a hell of a lot of people would be buying it. I'd be buying it NOW instead of waiting for a price drop if it had the soundcheck included.
Apparantly Roger and Brian only allowed one track from the soundcheck to be used because they didn't want to bore people.
The only people who will buy the box sets are fans. Joe public ain't gonna spend £85+.
Clueless. They're absolutely f****ng clueless.
I'm in brians' side. If it included the whole soundcheck, I would be searching a store to buy it.
I've listened two songs from the soundcheck:
Now I'm Here, which has some weird phrasing, but it's an great version.
And a little snippet of Bo Rhap present in the documentary, which sounds really interesting.
I don't know why they didn't included the soundcheck in full -_-

I certainly won't buy it for that reason, and I consider myself a serious collector.
The fact a single track from a soundcheck is offered only as part of an overpriced box set speaks volumes to me.
The motivation is pure greed, nothing more.
It should have been offered as part or the cd, and or dvd/blu-ray bonus material.
I for one will download the sound check in flac at the earliest opportunity without the slightest pang of guilt.

So where is their incentive? Queen fans will steal what they can because they are not satisfied by the new release. They are still waiting for the none existent anthologies. Queen fans will complain about everything they release so why should they release anything? If I was Brian May I would stack all the audio and video tapes and put a match to it all. Enjoy collecting all your badly recorded mono tapes from tapes 30 years ago.
Their incentive is to make money, and they will.
More fool you if you were in his position and put a match to it all.
Any action I take in this regard will make jack shit difference.
Also, I am not complaining about the release per se.
Just the fact somebody made an underhand decision with package contents.
But you will never be happy with the content, you (the royal you = Queen fans in general, especially the ones on this site) will always think of something that you think they should have included and use it as an excuse to steal the product. I vote for Queen never releasing anything ever again.

...and your opinion will also make jack shit difference.
Your sense of entitlement is laughable. If you want the soundcheck you should hold your nose and pay for the box set ... but you will rationalize your stealing the soundcheck given your own defective moral character.
