We are proud to hereby announce that one of the greatest and most legendary bands in rock history, Queen, will play at Sweden Rock Festival next year!
More than 10 years have passed since the Queen last played in Sweden, then at a sold out Globen in Stockholm. Yet the group has remained current, and probably even increased in its popularity since. Their musical "We Will Rock You" drew full houses in Stockholm in 2010, Queen's music is heard regularly on radio and television, and as recently as last spring, was sold thousands of tickets for every concert as a tribute show to the Queen toured in Sweden.
And in summer must Queens Swedish fans finally get the chance to see Her Majesty in person again! Thursday 9 June 2016, the namely to Sweden for the first time in over 10 years!
"This is definitely one of the largest reservations in the festival's 25-year history," says Martin Forssman, band booking manager at Sweden Rock Festival AB. the search: "That such a large band that has not been in Sweden for so long makes its only Swedish concert at Sweden Rock Festival feels amazing! They come with a large production and playing all their most famous songs, so it is structured for a magical evening. "
Seriously considering going to see them. The band has seen better days of course, but Brian's still got it. Would be nice to be able to say I've actually seen the guys live!

Please, you have to go to see them. They are still playing at top form and Adam delivers a very honest and professional performance. You've gotta sing those songs again. I saw this guys on September in Santiago, Chile. Just amazing!!!
You won't regret!
Cheers!
Apparently Adam got nixed as a support act from one of these shitty pop stars' tours.
Maybe they'll wind up recording something.
This commitment for next year sounds like they'd make use of the time. Who knows. .. Maybe a charity single. An EP would be great just to fuck with the public.
I'm still very fond of Brian May's Kerry Ellis collaboration (the covers one) .... especially Life is Real.
Sadly I think it tops the original. Given the decade that followed it kinda became something else instead of the "cunt stains on my pillow"

Festival=promote...Why Q+AL!? To play Festivals hmmmm Strange
Looking at the other artists at the Sweden thing.....definitely a hard rock/metal lineup! Twisted Sister (they're still around?), King Diamond, Blind Guardian....and a bunch of bands I never heard of.
Kinda cool how on the festival's website, they have video clips of all the various bands.....checked out one band called King Witch, from Scotland....can't find much else from them at all, I guess they're pretty new, but I could definitely get into that...

Twisted Sister are wicked live. Well worth going to see. Haven't bought a TS record ever, but seen them live a few times and they still put 100% into it. Seriously, those guys must need a long long lie down by the time they finished.
They do a great (and fun) show.
I definitely recommend, and its a guarantee you'll know at least three songs! Oh and one more thing.. its not Twisted Sister... It's Twisted F***ing Sister.
