Have they changed guitarist? What has happened to the left handed guy?? |

I went. Incredible experience. Setlist, aside from ANATO (SPOILER ALERT): Keep Yourself Alive Liar March Of The Black Queen Seven Seas Of Rhye Killer Queen Flick Of The Wrist Tenement Funster In The Lap Of The Gods Now I'm Here Stone Cold Crazy In The Lap Of The Gods (Revisited...) Somebody To Love The guy who plays guitar is unearthly sounding. Those cheap tribute bands who dress up and play hit songs should be ashamed, move out, Queen Extravaganza is the bollocks. |

I was hoping Brian May did that trick on the last tour in South America. :-) |

They're not putting up much of a show and the performers lack a bit of personality in their playing. Still very interesting to see songs like Seaside Rendezvous being performed live for the first time. |

Listen to these great sounding versions of Sweet Lady and Under Pressure from Hammersmith! Is this the best sounding live performances of the songs ever except Queen's own versions of course. I can only speak for myself but I have not heard anything like it. Under Pressure Sweet Lady |

One of the Hammersmith gigs is on sale officially on double CD, you don't need bootlegs for this. I'm just about to switch to disc 2. |

Holy crap this 2CD set is damned good. What a smokin' set list! I wish Queen + Adam Lambert had played something like this when I saw them at the O2. Superb sing alongs from the crowd in some songs, well handled by Marc Martel. Like Freddie used to do in the middle of songs with the vocal of the song, much better than the later ones Freddie did with meaningless words like ey-oh. |
Another Roger (re) 04.12.2016 13:02 |
Fat Bottomed Girls from Hammersmith It starts off with Marc Martel talking about how different the Queen members wrote and that he can instantly recognize who composed what just by looking at the lyrics. |
