This rumour was same last year!! It never happened then! If queen were going do a final rhapsody surely it would be knebworth 30yrs later!
Nah, it should be at Wembley. If they ever play "for the last time" as an outfit previously known as Queen, it HAS to be at Wembley Stadium. But they won't because they'll never recoup the cost.

Jesus. I've never heard such negative pessimism in all my 44 years of life.
It's NOT about the money dude, it's about the...Oh. Hang on. This is QUEEN we're talking about. Oh. Okay. Sorry. Carry on.... ;-)
You kind of get used to negativaty on this site after a while. No matter what Brian and Roger do it is always looked down on.People dont post very much these days as when they do they get mainly abuse.Queen could put on an excellant show at any festival in my oppinon.
I thought they might do Glastonbury this year, then someone pointed out Brian will never do it due to Michael Eavis's farming / badger / hunting stance, I think he allows hunts etc across the land, so that will never happen.
At such a time as Queen call it a day they will go out with a bang I'm sure, but I dont see it happening yet, they look like they got on well with Adam, I highly doubt that will be it with him, Which I'm personally happy about, I thought the concerts this time were way better than 2008 so bring it on...
I was looking at Queen on you tube last nite with Paul and Adam on vocals.Adams voice is far better suited to Queen songs, Pauls voice is very low and almost spoken in parts.Break Free is a really bad song for Paul, i am not surprised that Brian and Roger went looking elswehere for a vocalist.I think the only way that i would like Queen to bow out is for John to join them for a one off Concert with Adam or George Michael on vocals at Wembley.
We're entitled to express negativity for something we hold dear and feel passionate about after having invested into it both financially and emotionally for 40-odd years.

Not so much about recouping the cost, as it is Roger absolutely hates the new stadium.

And conveniently ignore the perception we give as a community to outsiders or casual fans, as a result.

So, what you're saying is, when QPL habitually CHEAT people, put out SUB-PAR products which shouldn't have passed QC and continually belittle and bullshit us, we should smile and act pleased to KEEP UP APPEARANCES?!!!
Do you see how insanely Victorian your remarks sound? "What will the neighbors think!"
............outsiders and casual fans don't owe me nothing a nd vice-versa. We're all entitled to our opinions , I criticise no one for the choices they make or their tastes, I've stated this in the past.
