Queen December 1 and 2, 1977 Madison Square Garden New York City, NY I made this just for personal listening but I figured why not share it y'know? Primarily this was done to make a complete NYC '77 listening experience. I also love Doing All Right so adding that into the first night which has better sound and more songs was something I wanted to do. Secondly the Jailhouse Rock from the 2nd night is better and complete so that was also a no-brainer. I balanced the channels where necessary and EQ'd all sources to sound more pleasant to my ears. The better tape of the 1st night had no bottom end and wayyy too much top so I tried to alleviate that a bit. I also tried to brighten the lesser sounding sources a bit. This is going to sound a little quieter than the original version of the first night because the sound was brickwalled and I did my best to fix that. I used Sir GH's excellent 2 source mix of the first night as a jumping point. All sources used come from the lowest generations publically available. sample: link download link: link SETLIST: (02:15:03) 01. We Will Rock You/Overture 02. We Will Rock You (Fast) 03. A compilation of two soundboard recordings has no production, technical, emotional or historical value. A compilation of audience recordings from different shows is even worse. Try to invest you time in a project with some meaning. |

Invest my time in something more meaningful? Well I could always sit in front of my computer and tell people I've never met how to run their lives over something as trivial as a free music download. Honestly with the way you run your mouth around here I'm surprised you haven't been banned yet. I feel sorry for Wiz who seems to constantly have to chastise fools like you who don't seem to have any social skills. Anyway, good job on adding to this thread, I'm glad you're able to find ways to entertain yourself. P.S. what's your fascination with dictators? Are you one of those creeps that collects nazi memorabilia? |
aristide1 28.09.2015 13:11 |
Do you realize "someone found value in creating it" is in fact a bad review ? As for poor "Wiz", I bet he prefers a pick from me than a lick from you. |
Sue Dounim 28.09.2015 13:19 |
Hey now, no need to get lewd. Who I lick is none of your business. ;^) |

Argh, I really wish these 'Know-It-All' people created something themselves. Such an annoying attitude. I can't wait for your contribution, aristide1. Really. Unless you can't actually make anything yourself. Or perhaps the community is not worthy of your ultimate knowledge and skill in working with audio / video. "Are you off your meds again? Seriously, how does this forum manage to attract all the loonies?" I think when Freddie said, "Let's just get crazy." some people took it too seriously. |

Another day, another life. Woke up, took my medication, read your comments, then read again my post. "A compilation of two soundboard recordings has no production, technical, emotional or historical value. A compilation of audience recordings from different shows is even worse. Try to invest you time in a project with some meaning." Do you really think I am a "loonie", who "should been banned" for don't like live compilations ? Waiting for a serious answer. Don't push your luck just because people around here tolerate ignorance. If you have a "personal project" and decide to share it then accept comments, otherwise keep it personal. |

I don't care if you don't like what I made. I don't need anyone to like this. I like it and that's enough for me. I just figured I'd share it with everyone because I enjoy contributing to this website. My bone of contention is that you said anything at all. If you uploaded something you made I wouldn't comment saying what you made is worthless. Basic common decency is all I ask for. |
Chief Mouse 29.09.2015 11:49 |
Everyone is entitled to an opinion but something seems to be wrong if vast majority of one's posts are of bitter remarks or complaints which is pretty much waste of bandwidth as it hardly brings anything to the forum, it's not productive and again it makes me think of what I already said in my previous post in this thread but I won't repeat myself. I don't think such people in real life have many friends if at all. Either way, I wish you well. |

I don't have the skills to do what you guys do to both video and audio, so i really appreciate what you do and share. And i'm typing this as i'm listening to "You're my best friend" from this concert. Such a beauty, and the audience clapping is just phenomenal. Oh, and by the way, when i heard the change between sources in the audience spot, i imediately remembered your other concert that you've shared here "1982.11.03 Tokorozawa All PRO+AUD mix complete". That one was brilliant! You are a master doing these changes. It's so smooth, with finesse! I love it! In the future, if you do more of these personal projects, feel free to share it with us, because as i said before, i really appreciate this kind of stuff. All the best! P.S.- If people don't respect you, don't waste your time replying to them. |

Thank you kindly, Mr. QueenFan! I'm actually planning on uploading a 2 source mix of Vienna '78 pretty soon. So keep an eye out for that! :) |
