(MAD LIBS) ....with his hair lost long ago? ...his tan line lost long ago? ...with his mail wherever he goes? ...where's his bass? nobody knows ... I dunno. maybe it sucks to be him, but I DO enjoy seeing his pictures now and then. Can't help love the guy, though I've never met him. These f####ers wrote some music that engaged and captivated me in my teens to keep me sorta sane. Can't say I owe them enough. Good to see John, even though he looks as if he's almost harrassed |

Yeah everyone knows the DM only serves one function - it comes into play when you're out of toilet paper. But they hardly 'stalk' him often, do they? Probably the only time there's been an article completely about him since he was caught with a stripper. I like how the article has gotten thousands of comments though. The more he's been reclusive, the more people are curious about him (and they haven't forgotten him, despite him being the least well-known Queen member). |

I don't know, I think John might actually see the funny side of this. The funny side is, he's virtually unknown these days except to Queen fans and some more enthusiastic music lovers. It's not news - John Deacon walking down the street is not news. Queen have been touring for 3 years without John this time round, and 3 years with PR without John 10 years ago. I think he might just go home and say 'Look Veronica, kids, Dad's still famous enough to get a bit of press these days. Now, fancy a Pizza Hut or a Chinese tonight?' |

I think John's reclusive behaviour has just added to the Deacon mystique. Queen fans get thrilled every time there is some news of John. Brian and Roger give numerous interviews and are active on social media, and it is all just meh... But a tiny little snippet about John, and we are trying to read all kinds of meaning into it, or passionately defending him. It reminds me a bit of the thrill I used to get playing Where's Waldo when I was kid, and I actually spotted Waldo. |
