Queen (1973)
Their first album, with their true sound. The rock essence, Also features lots of lovely guitar work from Dr.May.
Keep Yourself Alive- 10/10 Electrifying riff that can't be forgotten.

The Night Comes Down- 9/10 Lyrics are great and very underrated.
Son & Daughtter- 10/10. A Classic rocker.
Modern Times Rock N Roll- 8.5/10 I think the instrumental work is great.
Jesus- 7.5/10 Christian Rock isn't my thing but I absolutely love that guitar solo.
Seven Seas Of Rhye...- 6/10 I love SSOR but I find this song rather unnecessary.
Great analysis. I know I'm in the minority, but when this album came out I began my lifelong love affair with Queen....
Doing alright .....ahhhhhh ....
It's my second favourite album after Queen II.I find Queen and Queen II present Queen's sound the best .I also like how those albums were too complex and heavy .
One of the great cultural events of my life British man, 41 years of glorious listening, simply love it, perfect in every way.
Yes, I am a stepford on this one. Gonna put it on now.
After hearing Made in Heaven, my opinion concerning SSOR from Queen I drastically changed. When I hear it, I think not of the beginnings of Queen but of the end of the "Freddie era". Also way back I thought maybe wrongly that they've incorporated the very last guitar chords of SSOR into Father to Son (when the guitar comes in).
