Maybe it'll all turn out that Bomi and Jer Bulsara asked Freddie to record something for his culture and he said fuck you.
;) just kidding.
.... But it begs questioning why. .. at almost their height
Strange. Yesterday I was chatting with a friend of mine who speaks Arabic and played him the song and asked him about the lyrics. I got some answers but since we were at a party we didn't go into full depth analyses. I have to share a link to the song to him on Facebook to get more answers.
My guess is he'd be mocking his dad's religion (*obviously a mama's boy) .... mocking his dad's religion and outrage.
That's just a guess however.
Bohemian Rhapsody was the alter.... soothing his mom for his decisions against what they'd expected of him and what they wanted him to be.
Just saying.
I always thought the middle bit was a reenactment of a cross argument father mother son before God staged as a mock set up.
Each one being outraged but life saying let him go. It doesn't really matter.
Anyways. Another Bohemian Rhapsody interpretation discussion. .... hoorah.....
^^^ Actually Freddie was a Zoroastrian, and Mustapha (one of the names of Muhammad) and Allah are part of Islam. They have nothing to do with Zoroastrianism. So I doubt he would get a rise from his dad.
Oh. ... some of those ladies on the tour with the band. .. surely could've got a rise from his dad. .. if you know what I mean... nudge nudge. ..
;)
*(I see your point. It's late over here, But also wasn't Zoroastrianism inclusive of ALL prophets and teachers? )
But hey. .at least it sounded interesting.
More than TCR, gimme a break man!
Well. I've been poorly informed. Time to send a middle finger back in my college correspondence course.
And I was THIS close to graudturadding!!
No lyrics because it's mostly gibberish with a few Arabic words. Salaam Alaikum. HEY!
