Count me in too! I've even read some of those 'Expanded Universe' books, but they basically ditched that entire thing, so it'll be interesting to see what they do with the story....
The funny thing is that their whole marketing is based on the fact that it's the direct opposite of the prequels - they always emphasize they're shooting on film, using real sets, miniatures, animatronics, makeup... It's written by a very competent writer and directed by a Star Wars fanatic, so that part makes me excited. But on the other side the director has already ruined my other favorite franchise, so I'll wait till the finished product with my judgment.
^I second that notion.
Not looking forward to it. But ultimately that will mean I'll view it in a better light than anticipation.
Not comfortable with Disney owning everything but it seems to be the way everything is going.
I'll probably watch another film, then sneak in on a matinee. THEN either tell people it's good or shit. And ultimately I WILL BE CORRECT ;-)
Cosplay?
How costly is that? I'm gonna work on a "Little Tramp" bit for Halloween. .. assuming the most expensive thing there will be the derby and cane since he was in tatters.
But cosplay. .. fur. .. plastics, molds. .. custom fitted and all that.
It'd be interesting to see if any amputees show up as either part of Darth Maul....
Be sure to bring a white cardboard voice dialogue box saying "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" and take plenty pictures with Darths everywhere
