I often read that fans brought bicycle bells to Queen shows on the Jazz tour to ring them during Bicycle Race but didn’t have the chance to do so because the song was always shortened and played in a medley. I was wondering if any of you attended one (or more!) of these shows and was disappointed (or witnessed people being disappointed) by the fact they couldn’t ring along to the song?
It worked very well - would have been even better if Freddie didn't struggle due to his vocal problems during the Jazz tour. Agree about Best Friend though.

Would have been much better with a Fender Rhodes on stage.
BR is a great studio cut, but it lacks power on stage. They didn't even sing the 'bicycle, bicycle, bicycle' bit, which makes the song so special.
The first time I heard Bicycle Race, it was on Live Killers and I hated it! But after I heard the studio version, it became one of my favourites (if not my favourite) Queen songs.
Speaking of karaoke. .. Horribly hard to b endearing as a karaoke song.
Much like DEATH ON TWO LEGS
That song requires lungs of depth. I know it's several takes. But the originals delivery is incredible. Hard to emulate that for karaoke. It's a breath full
