Is there anyone who saw Freddie's performance who can clarify something for me?
I'd always assumed Freddie came on before the final curtain call but after the show to sing with cliff, but looking at the photos he has a costume change, he comes on stage in red and takes a bow in a black jacket.
Was he playing a member of cliffs band at the end in the show rather than a guest at the end?
I saw it.. pretty atrocious actually, Freddie was dressed like a prawn, I felt uncomfortable when he winced when he sat on his arse! Or was that something else?

Act I
1. Born to Rock 'n Roll
[...]
3. Time [?]
[...]
16. In My Defence Act II
[...]
11. Time (Reprise) [?]
12. It's in Everyone of Us
Those are all the songs in whose Freddie was included [There isn't any recording in Internet of the performance of Time or the reprise, so we don't really know if he participated or not].
I never got what was going on with Freddie's make-up during the Time show. He looked white as a sheet, but otherwise very healthy. I know it might have been to hide some marks on his face, but couldn't the make-up artist have done a better job? Richards' make-up looks good.
Can anyone confirm if Freddie did perform time live during this performance? I've only ever heard the other three tracks. I'm still desperate to hear all the tracks from the soundboard recording, it's a shame they weren't included on the box set

YES!!! It's like: there are great versions of other people songs, and IN MY DEFENCE! It's the last public performance of Freddie with performances like in Live Aid!!
But I think there were legal problems, or maybe Mercury Songs (QPL) couldn't even obtain the tracks in good quality.
And about Time, if it wasn't shared publicly with the rest of the recordings, it's almost sure that it wasn't performed.
I'm confused. Which song(s) did Freddie definitely perform live that night? I was always under the impression it was 'Time'. Given it was his last ever live vocal performance, I think this should be a well-known thing.

He performed these songs:
On Born To Rock And Roll - he's singing along with Cliff Richard and Freddie nails the song. He out-sang Cliff on his own song! :D
In My Defense sounds really good - great clean belts by Freddie.
It's In Everyone Of Us has some really amazing sustains by Freddie. Really - an excellent vocal!
