It's been about 2 years now since Tarantura released their last Queen-show (taped by Mr. Peach).
Does anyone on here have any info concerning whether there is more to come (maybe just a break form releasing Queen-shows after having released about 10 shows in 4 years)? Or did they release all the available Queen Mr. Peach recordings??
Even though there was lots of compression added to the tapes they were still great and I'd definetely like to hear more :-)
Last year I contacted them. I was told they were going to release another show from 1976 or 1979. But still nothing has been released.
By the way, it's so strange that they skipped Q-11 in their Queen catalogue ("Finale" is Q-10 and "Great Tits & Great Ass" is Q-12). They couldn't give me a proper answer about that...
It's also very strange, they haven't released anything from 1982/85 tours.

Thanks for your helpful reply ? Maybe contact them again? I'd definetely like to hear more 1976 or 1979 shows??
I really like that Japanese tour since all shows on that tour must have been spectacular to witness for those who were there. The great footage of the last Tokyo night is quite revealing in that respect. The excitement in the hal when the intro plays while the lights are going up and then the band in full force for a hugely energetic wwry. That is what rock n roll is about to me...
Of course, Freddie was in poor voice but still he gave it his all and he was so creative that plenty of lines - even though they're lacking in range - are a joy to hear. Just listen to It's late from the 04/24 show...
And, let's not forget Queen was a band... and the rest of them were simply playing so well that they made up for anything FM's performances lacked...
Bring on the rest of the Mr. Peach tapes, I'd say.
Still no news regarding this?
@Antiden: have you contacted tarantura again? Or can you do that?
Those Mr. Peach tapes are so good. They were being released in a fast tempo and then suddenly it stopped... :-(
dears....just a litte expl to your questions...
the Tarantura is run ..just as Crystal Cat records , by only one little kind of human.
His basic money makers are the Zeps, which are really amazing, the best ever, ....
- he did a good job by taking over the 'original' founders of the Tarantura/Tarantula...and the sub labels.
Peach did record for sure up to the tours of the 1980, ..which are now been released at time of writing..only in first editions,...and very limited. It depends of the demand in his homecity market if he re-release the titles. ( the re-releases are all for 50 pieces each title ) The demand for the classic Young nobles of Rock is really overdwelming..if we can speak so , with sold out re-releases of 50 copys for each edition..as time we speak..Nobles had reached it's fourth pressing,in stunning royal blue, which sold out on forehand in only one day. Other pressings with other cover colours will be enter the market, .prob the last 2 releases in silver and gold edition.
- the 82 and 85 will also seen broadday light in the future.-
Tarantura is to be said not a QUEEN based label, ...so their majority of titles may be not to much..for a real QUEEN label please go out and find the amazing WARDOUR label....
Tarantura is normally very authentic with his cover designs and informations, pics of the par. tour.....but he dramatically mistakes the back cover of FRENZY at BUDOKAN.... :-(

Thanks for chiming in. Indeed, everything seems to be second place to Zeppelin in the bootleg world. LZ are one of my favourites too.
It has been said that Mr Peach also taped the Queen 4-4-76 show in Tokyo, but that the tape won't come out because Mr Peach's name is revealed at some point on the tape. But wouldn't the sensible solution be to simply cut out that little part of the recording and release the rest?
Can the dialogue be opened up with the players involved? Surely there must be a fair compromise here. It's a classic show that would be most welcome in the Peach standard of quality.
In the meantime, it's nice to know some more 80s shows are on the way.
