No one cares what your top 50 is but you do know that We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions are different songs, don't you? |

However, I still don't know whether you actually listened to the audio I provided (not talking about Propthet's Song edit but remasters by Matt) or just chose to ignore it due to your principles. I made a few posts trying to make you give a chance to Matt's remastering work and even uploaded a sample in the last one but the answer I got was about paints and museum. Hence I called you the way I did. Anyway, I don't want to make bad impression about myself to anyone on the internet so if you feel like talking about it feel free to PM me.Chief Mouse wrote:That's rich, coming from you.mooghead wrote: No one cares what your top 50 is but you do know that We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions are different songs, don't you?And why would anyone care about YOUR opinion? Anyway, I think Mooghead's remark that "no one cares about what your top 50 is" or basically "no one cares about your opinion" is much more rude than anything I've ever said on this forum and I felt it was right to tell that. |

But you undoubtedly have a narcissistic, belligerent way of forcing your opinions on folk and come across as very rude. Mr. mooghead has enriched many a forum on QZ and helps to makes it the interesting place it is, his little snap at anthony venus was no more than a throw-away moment in time and no one should go slashing their wrists over it. .........and you need to chill a little. |

But let's just leave it. |

I forgot Ride the wild wind. Loved that song. would put it at about 30-20. |

brENsKi 29.06.2015 16:38 |
leave "Moog" alone - he's our care in the community project :-)...every community should have its grumpy old man and actually - he does (kinda) make a very good point - you start off by listing your "top 50 queen songs" ...you basically picked approx 1 in 3 of every queen track recorded. then, not wanting to lessen the significance of your "essential 50" - you go and add "Ride the Wild Wind" somewhere "between 20 - and 30" firstly, you gotta be kidding that it even made your 50, secondly, you can't even nail it down to a specific place in the 50 - crucial stuff eh? |

Yeah, my iPod has "570 songs", when I hit 'Queen'. That's all the official releases and more, so I'm puzzled too. |
brENsKi 01.07.2015 00:51 |
the difference is between "songs" and "tracks" - there may well be 570 "tracks" as there's more than one version of some queen songs...but the thread title is Top 50 Queen Songs the OP selected his top 50 songs and when you equate this over the Queen catalogue it's almost 1 selection in every 3 songs |
master marathon runner 01.07.2015 03:03 |
Mmmm, I see. |
mooghead 01.07.2015 13:22 |
He actually chose 51 in his top 50 |
Saint Jiub 03.07.2015 21:19 |
Queen has over 200 different songs (including B sides, extra tracks and "rarities", but excluding Cosmos Rocks and solo stuff). A rating of the top 25% of Queen songs seems reasonable to me, and I fail to see why quibbling and nitpicking with this new poster is justified. |
Fat Bottomed Queen 11.09.2015 16:04 |
Crap... my opinions change... Father To Son is way too low! Embarrasing list, I'm still quite a rookie, you see... Oh but, a worse situation... NO NEVERMORE OR DOING ALL RIGHT! |
