Melody Maker Report from Beverly Hills, California 1975. Nice little details here and there imo.
I suggest you to use the magnifier function to have a more comfortable read.
Cheers

I never knew Tenement Funster was played live...do people know if it was Roger on vocals or Freddie?
My more cynical side says that was an error on the journalist's part. There are numerous cases of writers saying songs were performed when they actually weren't.
Thanks for the article, Musicland ! It was a good read.
"If you play too much on singles, you can quite easily become a singles group. At that point it's almost impossible to revert back to albums."
If only 1985 Freddie Mercury had listened to 1975 Freddie Mercury...
It is of note that one of the journalists on this article is Harvey Kubernik, who was interviewed for the "Days of Our Lives" documentary and was quite critical of the band, around the Jazz period.
As touched on earlier, no doubt that 'Tenement Funster' was an error (and lack of knowledge). Should have been 'Modern Times Rock 'n Roll'.
A good read, a great share. Thanks.
