Thats all i can think of... Anybody have something or somebody that you look at and automatically think of Freddie Mercury? I am curious.
Both good and bad tribute acts attempting to dress and do Freddie's posturing.
(The guy in QUEEN NATION actually COMBINED Freddie look eras into one 76 goofy sequined leotard with 81-87 moustache AND the 79 leather cap [[probably because he's severely balding]])
2. People striking a fist up and singing pose
3. The live banter sing back chants that *(as far as I know) he popularized. (I've never heard it in live recordings of 60's bands or any seventies band's until Freddie.
Now it's a staple (and register) of any good live performance
4. This idiotic mustache trend that's spanned into a BEARD hipster trend in the USA. (My friend even bought me a "moustache themed" candle last year; not SHAPED like a moustache but featuring a prominent moustache label)***(see #5)
5. *^^^ probably started due to the increasing popularity of "men's health" "MO-VEMBER" (*don't shave the stache in November)
I doubt that raised any money or did anything beneficial other than raising prices on generic shit that could be marketed with a moustache
6. The bar scene in one of my favorite movies AFTER HOURS *(Griffin Dunne and Rosanna Arquette)
7. The BLUE OYSTER bar in the POLICE ACADEMY movie (where the song playing is EL BIMBO)
8. ... eh that's it.
Failing the moustache thing he'd probably never be referenced and goofed quite so much.

P.s. it's blasphemy seeing Lambert Don the crown at the endofThe current performances. Dunno why they'd do that. It's Freddie's shtick. LET IT BE.
That again? Maybe if the crown looked exactly the same, but it really doesn't......
Did you by any chance see any of the video of Brian and Kerry Ellis performing in Verona a little while ago? They had some opera singer out there for a few songs with them.....guy was carrying around a yellow jacket like Freddie wore and even put it on at the end of Bohemian Rhapsody......

Different circumstances. Carried as a tribute, donned as corny but a tribute.
The crown at the helm of the band at the show's closing is nauseating.
He oughta do his own thing
Oh but another one comes to mind (not being funny)
8. Hearing "Freddie's Dead" by Curtis Mayfield
Toyota Highlander. Because Highlander always brings Freddie to mind, not Christopher Lambert. Especially the 'there can be only one' part. That has got to apply to Freddie! :) (Ooops, sorry, Matt Z)
Moet and Chandon
Black nail polish.

But isn't Adam wearing the crown the same thing?? A tribute?? (and Adam certainly isnt afraid to be corny either...) I thought the yellow jacket was worse, not that I really took offense to that, either....
The "Ochsengarten"and "Deutsche Eiche" and several other Clubs in Munich: It makes me wonder everytime I came along one of his pleasure places. How could it have end like this ?
