I feel that Queen videos directed by DoRo seem, in comparison with the ones Mallett did, fairly low budget. Financially this might not be accurate but if you think of how epic the video of I Want It All looks, essentially some boxes in a warehouse, or the production values of Radio Ga Ga -it seems to be of a scale befitting the band.
Even the video for 'Breakthru' seems to lack the sense of grand scale despite it involving a train (polystyrene wall anyone?)
Maybe I am being unfair but Mallett videos always looked like big productions whereas the DoRo oned look more 'on the cheap'
Polystyrene wall was indeed deeply disappointing - unless that was the joke. :-)
Would've been better to paint the sides of the blocks as well as the front.
Mallett is often epic in his director work (check out various Ac Dc releases!)
On the other hand; some of the DoRo videos are fab. Slightly Mad is superb
