This summer's movie blockbuster, Pixel, will feature We Will Rock You as its theme, as this trailer strongly implies: link
(Sounds like a new mix, too.)
The movie is out on July 24th and, even if it looks cheesy, will probably be a huge success (who in their late 30's/40's wouldn't want to see a movie featuring Pac Man and Donkey Kong and show it proudly to their kids?). So I think it's a safe bet to say that WWRY will be released again this summer.
For some reason I just can't stand mindless comedies. Give me something dark, deep and dramatic over this sort of thing anytime. The only comedy I can tolerate is the black type - Burn After Reading, etc.
Typical 'bwaaaaaaa' trailer - seriously, what a stupid and oddly specific trend.
The film seems to recycle a general idea which a Futurama episode used over a decade ago. Also, Adam Sandler. I'll be steering clear of this one.

Hey tomchristie22,
I wasn't promoting the movie at all, I was merely posing the hypothesis that WWRY may be back in the charts if it is a success (and it looks like it will be), which seems general Queen news to me. I'm not interested at all by the movie itself, TBH. I don't think a decent movie was made this decade. And I know it's a blatant Futurama rip-off.
Sorry if you took it the wrong way!
Since I posted it, I saw it reported elsewhere: link
Skyfall (2012) was pretty great. The King's Speech, though IMHO overrated, was also a very good movie. If 'decent' is the standard, then I guess there are at least a dozen films that would qualify. But of course the year's summer blockbusters are going to be the same old trash - that's what they've always been.

The 1998 summer blockbuster made Zep's Kashmir unbearable thanks to Jimmy Page working with the "artist" formerly known as Puff Daddy destroying it for the Godzilla soundtrack.
Since 1998, I can't hear Kashmir's intro without hearing his stupid "ah ah yeah" in my head.
I love mindless comedies, 21/22 Jump Street, Anchorman, We're the Millers, Dumb and Dumber etc.... etc... I just want a daft laugh when I watch a film. Recently saw a film called Kingsman which was brilliant
