I just happened to find an ebook on Amazon called "Life,Art and Freddie Mecury; 1968-70", written by Rose Rose, alias Rosemary Pearson, his former lover.
Very interesting book, she tells about their time together at Ealing School, about their love relationship, Freddies eagerness to become a rock singer and his struggles with his sexuality. You also get a good insight into the wild life of the "Swinging Sixties". Sometimes the book is a bit difficult to read; strange style somehow. But you learn a lot about the private (!) life and thoughts of the student Freddie Bulsara.

Sounds interesting. But at 88 pages I'll let someone else review it first.
$4.99 listing I found.
Any rare photographs?
ANY photographs?
I mean. ...88 PAGES is a LOT! !!!
Are you kidding me? 88 pages is like nothing. You can read the whole of it on a train London - Cambridge, just saying.
shakespeares sister: does the book tell much about Freddie's music life? Does it mention other band members? Thank you for the infos.
Haha. It's called SARCASM. I'm sure I'd be able to read it errr...---- IN THE PINCH OF A LOG ---
perhaps maybe two.
(Time measured in log years)
It sounds incredibly short was what I meant to say. Sorry for the sarcasm, I tend to forget that it doesn't always translate well to an international forum.
As for the book... I'll wait till the verdict is in. Excellent post though. Never heard about it
Hi,
there are no photographs in the book.
Mrs. Pearson writes a bit about some gigs with Smile and mentions Tim Staffel now and then, but no other Queen members.
The book is not so much about his music life, it's more about his private life and thoughts and his burning desire to become
famous. And it's also about Mrs.Pearsons life and development during her relationship with Freddie.
88 pages may sound short, but it took me a while to read it, because as I mentioned before it's not all that easy to read sometimes.
Rosemary Pearson is a highly intellectual artist and you find it in her words.
88 pages - don't forget, the book is only about 2 years in the life of Freddie Bulsara and Rosemary Pearson.
Coming from THE Shakespeare 's sister, I'll take that as interesting enough.
Unless. ... Shakespeare was brilliant but his sister a complete clod.
:-/
Not one photograph eh? I'm literate, I was just hoping there would at least be something from Freddie's art days.
Oupps, sorry matt. Not the first time it slipped past me. Guess The Avengers 2's too many one liners has blunted my sense of humour.
On the other hand, 88 pages might be a lot to some people (the one who don't like reading) so it depends on perspective. 88 pages of Freddie pondering over whether God exists or not might have been too much for me.
