I'd tried to record what I'd caught on the Q+AL tour (Inglewood) but found MANY ultimately SUPERIOR recordings on video available online.
Tonight I caught FNM (FAITH NO MORE to the uninitiated) live in Los Angeles but ultimately got a murky recording.
I used an Olympus LS-14 field recorder but optioned with a 100 hz noise limiter and wound up with a recording that was clear on most parts but very wishy washy.
Would an actual external microphone help considerably or should I have just gone bare bones naked with the recording?
P.s. I'm looking into mega co .nz... is that a safe environment to utilize? It asks SO MANY permissions of my phone for accessing it.
Is it worthwhile?
I'm of a mind that this sort of bootlegging doesn't benefit anybody but the listener and will share, kb/s permitting.
I adjusted my settings since the Q+ADAM shows. But still got negligible recordings.
Any advice?
I might try it out again at a free concert in the park someday but I'm dissatisfied with the situation. I was watching the two bars during recording and it seemed steady regardless of my field of depth (loud space)
But crowd noise tends to overwhelm the recording.
Baaaaaaaarrrrggghhh..
- frustratedly yours
Me.
(*serious about the inquiries of mega co. I'll upload the stuff if permissible in time)
