Over the past 25 years I've amassed a fairly decent sized collection of records and other stuff Queen and was wondering what others with collections do in terms of insurance? None of it is in the mega rare category individually (nothing worth >£1000) but overall its value has started getting to the point where it's above a "normal" limit that most companies will cover as they consider a collection an item on its own.
Are there specialist companies people have used for this kind of thing? What sort of proof do they look for if you ever had to claim? Any advice from the seasoned pros at this kind of thing gratefully received. I'm happy for you to PM me if you don't want to discuss it publicly.
