Thanks to Dancuny for providing the source. You can watch it here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNqnjGOKcFg The first half of the video was taken from another Dancuny's video, which unfortunately was compressed as hell (he uploaded it in 240p). That one was only processed to reduce the compression, no frame rate manipulations (I don't think it really matters for something of such poor quality). Now, the second half of the video is much higher quality. I also 'stabilized' it. And yeah, both videos are slowed down since they ran too fast. They are merged into one video. Download this comparison video - https://mega.co.nz/#!2IUz1YhR!BMr9MH0pMDcTzjY_5FwYr6fujp71Y6Ls1w-EqVmXdqk Or, if you can't be bothered, just watch it here - https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/5bdf/w38o4rrsi8kdjp87g.jpg" border="0" alt="Simple, Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire" /> https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/2134/r6ns451ktv87d617g.jpg" border="0" alt="Simple, Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire" /> Also, I managed to remove *some* blends. Not all though. But I think overall they are much less so it should look better. https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/1491/dypst22yxnrh2uz7g.jpg" border="0" alt="Simple, Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire" /> https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/4c6d/shnvk82zulrgc8f7g.jpg" border="0" alt="Simple, Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire" /> https://mega.co.nz/#!vBVmWbgB!bdjCH6t7DItJrr9gjfUwTXErpi48H5KPuwifbr4xu0k Enjoy! |

Actually Dan's video is at 480p on youtube. Thanks for this, worth checking out |
Chief Mouse 22.02.2015 10:26 |
I was talking about TYMD video. The other one is 480p, yes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTBHbyhQMoo . |
pittrek 22.02.2015 10:27 |
Oh, I missed that. Thanks again |

You're welcome! |
DepeX 22.02.2015 10:46 |
Thanks Chief! Sorry, but what's the difference between your job and the old Pittrek's one? |
Chief Mouse 22.02.2015 10:50 |
^ Read everything I wrote in this thread. That's an ignorant statement. Did you watch the comparison video? As far as I'm aware Pittrek only added Neat Video plus slowed it down. |

Thanks for your work and for the share! |
DepeX 22.02.2015 12:00 |
I didn't want to criticize your job. I was not able to download YOUR video, so I just asked informations about this new video. Anyway, I'm watching it right now. Thanks |
Chief Mouse 22.02.2015 12:02 |
Well, critics are welcome as long as they are constructive. I had written down everything, so your question was not in place. Anyway, you're welcome! |

Your source is a .mpg video made by Pittrek or a MP4 video taken from YouTube? I have the first if you are interested, which is in 5:4 (I haven't downloaded your version yet). |
Chief Mouse 22.02.2015 14:59 |
I always try to work with the raw sources, so it's from youtube, yes. I also have Pittrek's version but I didn't use it. To be honest, I kind of did - as a reference as to how much should I slow down the video & audio. |

I used NeatVideo to "hide" the compression artifacts * I don't use Neat Video but filter combinations in Avisynth which I think produce better result. Plus I use H.264 encoding which is miles better than MPEG-2. * I removed some (or most) of the blends. * Made it 'real' 29.970 FPS with interpolation so that it looks smoother. That's about all. Sorry for being a bit harsh, Depex. It's just that I basically wrote all this in the first post already (maybe with different words but still). |

Good job, thanks for this. |
hobbit in Rhye 23.02.2015 17:05 |
Thanks for the video, Chief! I'm trying to download from both mega links that you provided, but after it's "100% downloaded" I can't play it, the file is also 0 byte... ? |
Chief Mouse 23.02.2015 22:47 |
You must wait until it fully saves after it's 100% downloaded in Mega. It's like, you download it within the browser and once it says 100% it will save the file to your hard disk and that takes a few moments sometimes. If it did download properly for you then I don't know what's the problem. |

Thanks! Great work! |

This is amazing! Thanks Chief for another great work. The colours look beautiful, and this video doesn't look aged anymore. I absolutely love the care you put in your work. It's just fantastic! |

Here's an upgrade of TYMD. It comes from a master or at least very close to it. As far as I'm aware it's the source used for the Champions Of The World documentary. Finally I've managed to download the 2 files (tonight mega is such a sweetheart. The other days it didn't let me in at all, don't know why). Thank you Mr Mouse! Great work process the videos^^ |
pittrek 06.03.2015 05:08 |
So... even the master of this is out already? Why doesn't it surprise me...But yeah, I can confirm it's a transfer of the 8mm master. CM - I noticed you didn't touch it - do you think you could do something at least with the scratches? Another thing which I planned to do but I wasn't very successful with it |

Another thing which I planned to do but I wasn't very successful with it I could, but it doesn't look very good. It also removes some of the picture and the end result is not all that pleasing. That's why I didn't do it. In motion it looks better as it is. As for the green flicker on top, it needs manual approach I think, but I don't have time for that now. https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/ed28/88d7in31486nc877g.jpg" border="0" alt="Simple, Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire" /> https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/40b6/kj3rb28vcv7y5wo7g.jpg" border="0" alt="Simple, Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire" /> . |

Did you use DeScratch? I think I experimented with that one and the results looked pretty similar to your picture (a great loss of detail) so I also let it be. It looks the negative needs to be physically cleaned and re-scanned |

Yes, I used descratch. |

TYMD 2:27 and 2:48 Holy shit if that guitar was played right over my head! This is something you can't have in an arena. |
