Roger has done his solo stuff.
Brian has done his solo stuff.
Queen+PR - with old and new stuff
Queen+AL -with all old stuff.
Is there any point whatsoever in having a third 'new' front man if all they will do is prove to be another karaoke singer going through the back catalogue with a live band?
What I would love to see is Brian and Roger on their own, with bass and keyboards (Spike presumably) and a couple of those nice blonde backing singers, touring smaller Academy-style venues singing just their own songs - ones that Freddie didn't sing.
Queen + Queen Latifah on SNL
Then Queen + Taylor Swift
Then Queen + retirement
Then 15 years from now
QUEEN: the studio years (anthology set, 3 discs of which two songs are wanted by die hard fans)
2 days after.
Queen + fan suicide en masse. (All who were waiting for an anthology finally give up)
I don't think I want a Queen anthology a la what the Beatles did. I couldn't be bothered listening to all the scraps of out-takes now, where Freddie might have contributed one sentence or whatever. Oh shit I must be having a cynical day today or something!
I'm hoping for a possible final album like we were led to believe was happening 18 months ago before Forever came out. Won't happen no doubt bur here's hoping. Other that I'm looking forward to the next live release release, which by all accounts sounds like Hammersmith 75.
Just putting it out there......could we get Queen+AL recording the new Bond theme ? David Arnold is a huge Queen fan, And has gone on record saying he wants to do a Bond theme with them :-)
Live album and DVD from the current tour.
Dates in South America
Another 70's live release in the same mould as The Rainbow.
A studio album featuring AL. They seem to get on well so who knows. . . .
Tour to promote the above.
A surprise live album from the mid 70's that they forgot they had in the can!
I really don't want any more CD/DVD rehashes of old music played live.
I want them to play live and sing songs from the albums that fans will know and like.
Forget WWRY, We are the Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody, I want to break free...
Let's have Tenement Funster, Sail Away Sweet Sister, Modern Times Rock and Roll, etc, etc....

That would be pretty awesome.....Brian & Kerry's version of Diamonds Are Forever is excellent, so there ya go right there.......:)
(and apparently it is known who is performing the theme for the upcoming movie, but no one says who it is!)
(the favorite appears to be Sam Smith)

I can't quite believe that Queen didn't ever do a Bond theme back in Freddie's day - especially as they were involved with movie soundtracks (either writing score's or songs specifically for them) ahead of a lot of other bands. I can only think that their declining popularity in the US might have been a factor. Do we know if they were ever asked to do one?
Now their profile and credibility is as high as it has been for 25 years in the States, there would be a possibility, but as posted above I suspect it will go to a 'hot prospect' such as Sam Smith, Rhianna, etc..etc..

But what about The Orbit article stating he is going to be working with Queen on some more material. Presumably it will be an album next time as Brian and Roger have virtually admitted that they were/are not happy with the Queen Forever project being released with so much rehashed material.
