I wonder how they are are getting on behind the scenes during this tour? I've noticed on Brian's website, 90% to 100% of his tour photos are soley of the crowd or just himself. No mention of Roger, Adam, anyone else or their lives on the road. Even Adam's birthday passed without a word being said. Bit strange is all. |
BETA215 16.02.2015 23:39 |
Some people close to me say that Adam can be part of a contract to revive Queen, more than a friend of them who enjoys playing with the rest of Queen. I left the rumour there. |

From what I've seen they all seem happier than I've seen them, pretty much ever to be honest, it's a long tour and I suspect they are now getting ready to finish up, but I'm betting they will all be back together again in a while, this has been so successful and they seem to have had a blast. I bet they turn up at Glastonbury and maybe Rio later in the year |
cmsdrums 17.02.2015 07:44 |
Judging by one of Brian's early self filming stints, where he jumped on Adam as he arrived, and also went into Roger's dressing room, I'd say they're getting on fine. If anything, I'd say that Adam's illness might have jolted them a tad, based on Roger and Brian putting out a joint press release stating their "disappointment" at the cancelled show and not wishing Adam well in that message. Probably nothing in it but it wasn't particularly well worded from that point of view. |

Leave it to people on this website to come up with conjecture that there is bad blood because there hasn't been an explicit confirmation that they spend eight hours a day snorting coke together while trading Swedish masseuses. People - they're getting on fine. They're not The Eagles where they all fly in on private jets and hate each other. If you've been watching ANY of the live footage, they are having more fun playing together than they have in about 35 years. If anything, it was pure business in the 80s, not now. They're doing it because they want to. |
queenUSA 17.02.2015 15:27 |
Yes exactly, leave it to people on this website to ask. I will ask. Live footage is not proof of behind the scenes, because of course they're filming for video release later on. Not much in the way of joint appearances other than on stage. At one point Adam was the "GFG". But no birthday good wishes followed or as someone posted earlier that lacking joint statement of dissapointment at the Brussels cancellation. It's valid to ask how things are truly fairing other than the business end. |

Guys, there are plenty of behind the scenes pictures of them getting along. They are just not posted here or out in open to the public. The most recent photos of Adam, Roger, Rufus and managers sightseeing together in Denmark. There are pictures of Brian and Roger affectionately towards Adam and goofing around with each other off stage. Rufus and Adam are pretty tight and are seen partying with each other on days off. We get photos almost all the time with them. They all are posted on Adam's sites. Adam has ninja fans in every country who "stalk" his every move. They are all getting along more than fine. |
Arnaldo "Ogre-" Silveira 17.02.2015 20:21 |
As for no birthday message or the cancellation statement, these just seem like a bad job by their assistants, nothing else, IMHO. Cheers, Ogre- |

I think the primary purpose of this announcement was to inform fans that there would be no concert and it would not be rescheduled, and to announce that other shows would not be affected. |

I left the rumour there. The idea that UMG+Queen+Adam forged some secret plan for Adam to help revive Queen seem both unnecessary and impossible to me. 1. It is unnecessary. Queen did not need this to get a great deal: The Queen recordings and catalog are one of the most valuable in the history of recorded music. They do not need to tour to popularize it with a tour since Queen songs are licensed for use in at least 3 current major advertising campaign (far more reach than this tour) and the music is regularly used in soundtracks and it is played in stores, sporting events, weddings, etc. etc. Plus there are the other Queen productions. Roger and Brian certainly did not need to tour for Queen to get a big deal with UMG. Their current deal is essential an expansion of the UMG deal they signed in 2010 -- before their first real performance with Adam at the EMA's. It also makes no sense for Adam to make a commitment like that. He has a new album releasing after for this leg of the tour is over. It is not just any album, the Executive Producer is Max Martin and the budget has to be substantial. It is one of WBM's big releases for 2015. *** 2. I also think it is close to impossible because of the artists' recording contracts. Queen has an exclusive global recording contract with Universal Music Group - signed December 2, 2013 - after they had already done the 2012 mini-tour and iHR 2013 with Adam and after they had starting planning the North American Tour. Adam has an exclusive global recording contract with Warner Music Group. While I believe it is likely there is some form of agreement to release a live concert DVD, it is very unlikely that WMG would allow Adam to be bound to tour to promote UMG's sales. (Best guess is that Adam signed with UMG in January 2014.) |

Thanks to everyone for contributing and producing varied accounts of things going well. Kayd especially. That birthday video you produced was the holy grail of evidence. Thanks guys. |

The interaction between the band members and BM's contact with the audience is probably better than it's ever been. |

Many of you are missing an important point: Brian and Roger are the ones making money in this tour. Adam is a hired gun and its very likely he receives a small amount of money and perhaps a very low % of every ticket sold. |

If it wasn't of Adam, the earth couldn't live moments like this: (Ooohh english grammar, how I hate you sometimes) |

They can live those moments with Paul or any person which they can tour, but actually only Lambert (given that they wouldn't tour together without a lead singer). |

Fair point, they could tour with anyone or go alone, but I see your reasoning. |
