First of all, hello everybody!
I read forum long time but it's my first post here. I would like invite you to visit my YT channel. There are some my guitar covers by Queen and other songs. https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGuitarCheckmate
So if you have time, look there :)
You're a pretty good player for sure.
Just curious - how old are you?
If you want some constructive criticism - in your Queen soloing, sometimes your rhythm is a bit off, and your bends sound more like Tom Scholz than Brian. Brian bends a bit more slowly, and any bend that holds results in a vibrato. Your vibrato needs a bit of work too, as his vibrato oscillates very slowly and expressively. But the doc is one of the hardest guitarists to emulate. You're definitely on the right track.
If I were you, I'd cover something like Hotel California. That's a great piece with which to get all of these techniques down pat before tackling more complicated things like Brian and Steve Vai.
Thanks for your opinion :) I'm 20 and I played for 3 years.
Brian is Brian, god for many many guitarist, I try play on my own and getting better and better ;)
Not that you have to sound like Brian of course, doing your own interpretations of the guitar work in your own style is just as interesting. Though I'd recommend having another listen to the HTF solo, you're missing a few notes there.
Hi again, today I am very interested in your opinion about my new piece. This is instrumental version of "Too much love will kill you" inspired by Brian May and Luciano Pavarotti performance in 2003. http://https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNNKqh9kNLk
What do you think about it? :)
