As requested in the request forum link Lineage : TV master > ? > Japanese TV broadcast > ? > DVD shared online > Avisynth (conversion back to PAL, improved colours) > VirtualDubMod > DeLogo (if I remember correctly I removed a WoWoW logo but I'm not sure, it was done many years ago) > NeatVideo (cleanup of various video artifacts) > AVI > Cinema Craft Encoder > mpg2 @ 8Mbps avg. bitrate > Womble > adding intro card from alternate source (a SnowProd DVD if I remember correctly) and synchronization with the album audio > mpg Note 1 : The video is in the mpg format but contains LPCM audio, which might be a problem for some players, because mpg video should have mpeg audio. If you here no sound, try a different player (VLC works fine) or try changing the extension from mpg to VOB, it should work Note 2 : As a part of the NTSC>PAL conversion the video was deinterlaced (sorry brian's wig and others)
Enjoy and if you have a better version feel free to share it
Thanks Pittrek! I'm going to download the YouTube version and upload it here.
And maybe, if the master tape is shared to me, I will upload it here too!
Killer Queen (TopPop Version)
Lineage: TV master > Top Pop DVD 5 & 6 (EMI 5099923418592) > SolveigMM Video Splitter (just cutting, without re-encode) > vob The Dutch Awards video from 1982, which was included in new "Queen Forever in Nederland" documentary, was taken from the same DVD. I've uploaded it here a couple of years ago, but someone re-encoded and widened it to the 16:9 resolution.

Thanks, I had no idea this was released. Do these DVDs have more Queen-related stuff?

No we had direct access to the "Avro" archive. In fact the studio I was working for is the caretaker of the whole Avro archive.
So we did direct transfers of their masters.
Thanks Greg, but the KQ version you uploaded is the same i put on torrent yesterday, but these two versions are inferior (in my opinion) to Pittrek's video. Thanks anyway for uploading :-)

There's one little difference - your version has fade-out at the end, when my version hasn't, I've just made a cut before Baccara video starts, exactly the last frame. But the source is the same one, you're right.

Hey Ghostwithasmile - interesting to hear that - do you know how many Catapult (1974 - 1979) performances survive in the archive?
Well a quick search :
Avro Toppop:
Remember September
Let your hair hang down
Teeny bopper band 1974
Van Oekels Disco Hoek 11-07-1974

Tros Poster (1981)
interview Aart Mol
Tros Poster (1982)
