Hello fellow Queenzoners, First of all THANKS to all beautiful people, who share various rarities here! Now I also would like to contribute something for common share. It's the best (in terms of quality) version of Keep Yourself Alive /Brewer Street Studio/ video, I've ever come across. And Liar /Brewer Street Studio/ video - the same as on 'Box Of Flix', but without black line with information in the beginning. Both videos have been transferred from my old VHS tape. SPECIAL THANK YOU to Rudolf (Chief Mouse) for his great job on video mastering. Now it looks even better, than on my VHS! Enjoy! link |

I had these clips on VHS too, but not nearly as good quality as this. Where there is a bad copy, it means there is a 99.9% chance there is a good copy somewhere. The most fervent of us trace that line back as far as we can and the best copy can be found. Or sometimes we just get lucky. Thanks to everyone involved in getting these clips out and trying to work out which clip is from which date. |

I just wondered how it got on the tape to start with. Was it shown on TV or gained some other way? Just curious. So everyone still thinks this is Brewer Street? |

I'm having problems playing the VOB file using Media Player Classic and small problems using VLC (especially the display time, it shows only 13 seconds) Anyone with the same prob? The mkv plays perfect. |

Yep, it's a glitchy vob. Not sure how you can fix it though. Perhaps there are some mpeg fixing softwares that can correct headers or something. Anyway, what I would try is this: demux the streams and mux them together again, possibly with audio stream re-encoded (maybe audio causes this. I've had such problems before). |

I've seen more US collectors with these than anyone else, so maybe that's an indicator.... ?! |

I was thinking, would it be possible to sync this video with the album audio, to eliminate the frequent skipping? It'd mean the video would need to be tinkered with slightly to elongate those spots where it cuts, so it wouldn't go out of time. EDIT: On second thought, that'd mean the video would just freeze frame for a sec every now and then.. Not fixing it but substituting one grievance for another |

On Brewer Street itself, you can still see a faint triangular outline of where the TAP logo was higher up on the wall, when coming from both directions - and the hole where it was fixed to the wall! It was situated where Bills is now at 36-44 Brewer Street.... You can see it on the Lexington Street corner and on the Great Pulteney Street wall.... |
