Innuendo is the best of the best with A Night At the Opera, A Day At The Races, Queen II and Queen following..
There's no totally bad album to me: even Hot Space has Las Palabras De Amor, Put Out The Fire, Under Pressure, Caling All Girls, Life Is Real; which are songs I like listening.
Not bad but the weakest albums in my opinion are; Sheer Heart Attack, Jazz in the seventies; and probably Hot Space in the eighties.
The worst has got to be "Made in Heaven" that untitled track was a waste of space on the album.
Very best is "Queen 2" This is what Queen was all about when they first began, regal , pomp rock at its best!
If you listen to it you die. Old Japanese curse apparently. Not sure why Queen went down that route, or why they never put a warning on the packaging. Bit reckless imo.
tomchristie: yes i have actually listened to that track on MIH and it is just rubbish.
Queen could have either picked a freddie solo track and work on that or delve into the archives for a proper song to work on.
Made in Heaven is my least favourite Queen album because it has a strange collection of songs on it and because i am bored of it,
The Game, jazz, & The works are much better albums by miles.
I have always had a very profound theory on the untitled track, it's the final death throes of the Queen unit , beating its last and Freddie's transition to the afterlife ,they can be, no more, the comet has burned out gradually fading away...........................
That's how I've always listened to it.

Nicely put - that is exactly how I thought after listening to that track.
Fav - innuendo (pure genius)
Least - Queen (first album)
In my opinion, there's a difference between "best" and "favorite", and some people don't seem to recognize this. Both are subjective, but the former is defined as "of the most excellent, effective, or desirable type or quality" while the latter is merely that which one likes the most. Some people may choose the best as their favorite, but the two shouldn't be confused. For example, my favorite movie is "The Princess Bride", but that doesn't mean I think it is the best film of all-time (having seen only a small portion of films considered "great", I wouldn't even consider myself qualified to make a judgement on that).
That being said, perhaps I'm an odd person to make that point, in light of the fact that my favorite Queen album and the one I consider the best are one and the same (Opera).
^ I think that's a good point.
And baring that in mind, I'd say the best is ANATO, and my favourite is SHA.
The worst imo, and my least favourite would still be TCR (or for the same reasons I said on my previous comment, Flash).
Best for me changes through the year between.Opera,Races,News World and Queen 2. Least favourite is rather obvious Flash Gordon. However as sountrack albums go it is pretty good and they did the best with what mainly Brian could come up with.A lot of fans like Innuendo but their is a problem with the mix as it sounds very flat plus All Gods People and Freddies song about his cat, rather spoil things.
