Obviously there will always be much discussion about Freddie's superb vocal range, but it would be interesting to hear what type of vocal ranges Queenzone users have.
For example, I have a vocal range of E2-A4, with a falsetto range up to A5.
I'm not asking for timbre or vocal groups, but actual range. I know range is nothing to tone(a concept I obsess over with singers), but it intrigues me to note what kind of ranges we mere mortals possess.
I have been told B2-C5. BUT, I know my tone is fecking awful lol, so I don't bother stringing notes together in public :p
I was told to go for training, but.....just.......NO!!!!

If I were you, I would go. I would take advantage of that opportunity - the possibility to pay an instructor. Maybe your voice improves considerably. You don't have nothing to lose (except money).
And about my range? I will have to calculate it.

I have no idea. How do I find out?
Find a piano or keyboard, or a friend with one.....I remember years and years ago, in my music class at school, the teacher would do that with students who wanted to know......I never volunteered for that one, though!
Incidentally, I was reading on wikipedia about vocal range a little while ago.....some guy named Tim Storms set the record for lowest note sung by a human.....G(-7)!!! (7 octaves below the lowest G on the piano) Also has the widest range ever, too...
That's just a fraction of a Hertz, it's ridiculous to even call that a note. With focal fry, many people can go far below the range of a piano.
I mean, the Grudge goes pretty low too. link
