Hello dear friends, i want to know who of you has a better version's concert queen sao paulo,i know that exists a better because i has been looking on youtube and i found this: link
I'm not looking snowproducciones because i has that version...and your valentine i has too
I'm looking a older dvd that were uploaded some years go it was incomplete and i know that somebody has that concert complete with the interviews and the special concert. link
You all would have to take my word on this but, the best sao paulo snippets I've seen, were like 15 years ago in our local channel "Chilevision" In those times called "RTU". Each time they played a Queen song, it would be taken from Sao Paulo 81, and the quality was superb. All the proof I have is on an old VHS tape where I recorded parts of We are the champions. They also played the most crisp and clear version of Tie Your Mother Down (studio) I ever seen. Why? I have no idea. Our local channel 13 (UCTV) used to play also the BBC version of WATC all the time. I'm talking 1992. I never seen those sources surface on Internet.
Maybe one day

I hope I can do that during the next year. I don't have my VCR anymore, and I don't have my video usb converter. But I want to check it out soon, so I'm looking for options. I will let you know guys.
UPDATE. I got a nice sony VCR second hand really cheap in working condition :D.
I checked so I have Somebody to love too.
Now, about TYMD.
I watched the GH1 DVD and it looks like crap. The Greatest Hits 1 VHS looks better but washed up like a VHS. It looks like my version is the better one (and its not recorded in the best quality).

we would be grateful with your share, of course, dear friend chilean :-)
here's the link: link
Tie your mother down (Original video) + Somebody to love (Sao Paulo 81)
TYMD, looks better (IMHO) than the official releases: Sharp and unprocessed.....
And this is just a crappy transfer from a badly recorded vhs.
The VHS sounds better, but for some reason the digital converted version has a lot of hiss.
Sample (My vhs vs DVD) : link
Somebody to love.
My copy seems to be very close to what is circulating. Just Unprocessed. So it does not have that huge contrast

I had a crappy antenna reception back then (199... something). The original (if still exist in the vaults) has to look way better.
I also have Tie your mother down, Another one bites the dust and We are the champions somewhere else (Sao Paulo 81) from the same channel broadcast. (They look worst though)
But I have to locate the original vhs since I found only a second generation copy that looks like crap.
I also have some version of Breakthru with different editing that I haven't seen anywhere yet.
Ozz. do you know that Queen released a Greatest Flix I & II DVD?
We're very thankful for your share! (Ojalá Canal 9 de Argentina emitiera de vuelta el concierto de Argentina en mejor calidad y analógico :/ )
Greetings.
Thanks, Ozz.
We can only wonder what these people QP have hired are thinking when they "clean up" footage. Something is wrong when 20+ old VHS tapes are in better condition.
