This is an idea I had a while back, but if Queen were to play a concert consisting of every track they ever recorded (ignoring for a moment the logistical impossibilities of a concert lasting that long and a few songs actually being able to be played live in their entirety), what would the setlist be like?
It's much too long to be posted here, but a few of my thoughts regarding it:
- Instrumentals would kept to a minimum or left out altogether, with the obvious exception of...
- ..."Procession", which would be first.
- "One Vision" and "Tie Your Mother Down" would be at the beginning (I always liked the latter better as a show opener than a closer anyway), probably consecutively. The fast version of "We Will Rock You" would also be there. (Edit: of course, we can't forget about "Let Me Entertain You".)
- There would definitely be a vocal exchange somewhere.
I'm not asking for everyone to give their own setlist, as that would take up a lot of space.
An alternative question would be if Queen played a normal-length concert, which songs would you include and exclude and why?
Hi there. No offence meant but you set out by suggesting something and asking what people thought, then provided answers and changed the question to basically what would be peoples idea of normal Queen set list.
Welcome on board! There have been threads, the latest was when Queen announced this years American tour, where members have suggested set lists. Some have been very interesting with some interesting reasoning
