Excellent! But I don't think that to use Drum head with Queen's crest (or logo) is a good idea for another band. All other related images are very welcome of course.

Think of it as a tribute, lots of bands use it if playing in tribute bands, We are not, but we play a lot of Queen material,
fact is I have a large ludwig kit exactly the same as the 1980 Roger Taylor version, plus I have 3 AC30's to the left of me and my Red Special so it seemed to be the final missing piece.
As i say lots of bands use other bands logos as tribute, the Foo Fighters have played with Queen tribute bass drum heads and t shirts so I dont really see a problem, it's just a nod to the band that inspired us.
Nice job on those heads! Who did them for you? Were they decals or were they etched right on to the head? I used a place here in the states call drumart.com for my band and I had them make me a decal that I peeled off and placed over my 22" head. A little pricey but worth it!
Yeah! Favorite RT drum head. His creepy portrait reduced to simplification. I can tell it's not exact but it's hella nice.
Being that it's got no porthole .... how do you Mic it and which drum mic do you use (if any- depending on the gig)
They all have portholes? I use an AKG D112 to mic the kick. Rockstar Skins printed them for me, they are printed on not decals, I produced the artwork and sent it to them, the Roger face was taken fro that photo and then retouched using photo editing software, nothing special mainly playing with the resolution etc. A little bit of hand drawing as well was needed to get it close to the original, but it has literally taken me years to find which shot was used for the original.

Same here! I've been looking for a place to get one made with my face in the same effect!!
i had one printed a few years ago, worked pretty well actually
Check out rockstar skins Scott over there is excellent, he has also printed some of Queen's kick heads as well
