Hey, queenies. Old member here. I just happened to stumble upon this forum again and couldn't help but wonder if there's still anyone around from about 2006? I used to hang out here quite a lot when I was like... wait, how old was I in 2006? Ugh, damn. I can barely remember how old I am now. Oh, right. Yeah.
Just stopped by to say hi to both old and new members, I guess. I seem to recall this Argentinian guitar virtuoso with big hair, some guy named Jake (?) and a Jess. But that's pretty much it. Was there ever a Beata?
PS I'm not really sure what I used to call myself around here.
Dunno. Try looking up an old thread to rekindle names and memories.
Gonna guess from viewing newer posts that there are only about 60 active members.
Occasionally a newbie. Occasionally a nonsensical rant. Occasionally trollers
Welcome back whoever you are.
My guesswork on active users ( posting wise) is slightly higher, maybe somewhat like 80 -100. Most members seemed to be in a "reading -only-mode". Of course there are some hot phases like the Rainbow release.
Keep an eye on the "Sharing The Music Announce" Section.
I've been here since 2001 (aged 14), but I had a different nickname back then, which I forgot, along with the email address I used to use and the password...
I agree that there are probably around 80 active members.
I appreciate that this site is available for us to use free of charge, and some people are forking out money for the hosting and bandwidth. So I feel kind of uncomfortable suggesting ways in which it could be improved. But I do wish it was a bit more friendly to smartphones. Hell, someone with the know-how could even design a simple app for this forum, for Android and iOS.
It's still mostly an interesting forum, at least on par with QueenOnline (ok, these are probably the only relatively active English language Queen forums). It would be nice to see some new life breathed into the design, and giving it better phone and tablet functionality.
Hi, blueskies, and everyone else! I used to frequent this site too, during my high school years. I was known then as ¨Lady Mercury¨...speaks for itself.
