Just wasted another half an hour trying to get Dissabled tickets for Queen at Sheffield,it is hopeless !! You get on the phone as soon as tickets are available spend as i say half an hour to be told all gone.Something needs to be done at these venues, they need more seating areas for the Dissabled, its just not good enough.Mind you the last time i vistited the Sheffiield Arena the sound was quite poor on the QPR tour.I think i am going to stick with smaller venues from now on because 1/ You get tickets with good seats and views and far better sound.2/Staff at the venue go out of their way to make your visit special.3/Not silly prices.4/You would be supprised at who you get to see.Ealier this year i went to the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall and saw FM,Europe and Foreigner who were all fantastic. At the same venue last month went to see Sheryl Crow who was amazing and received a complete standing ovation. Then i must tell you that i went to see Big Country play at the Cube in Corby which seats about 700 and it was just fantastic. We had seats right next to the stage ,perfect view, the sound was amazing,Bruce Watson was on fire he gave it everything. The whole place was jumping and it was only a Tuseday night ! I have tickets next year to see Simple Minds in Nottingham which i am looking foward to.Just another point ,i love Muse but when i went last time to see them play the new Wembley the sound was so quiet and you could hardly see the band.I would never go back to Wembley for a gig ever again, cheers,Phil.
aww Philip thats such a shame you've had a horrid time getting tickets as i know that it will be a show to remember :/
thanks for the heads up winterspelt, i decided to do Wembley out of the 3 new shows, but since it is the last one, im doing the VIP I Want it All experience thing! cost me an arm and a leg but you know it'll be worth it won't it :)
Yes i have tried and tried to get a dissabled space for myself and my care worker but have failed and its hit me hard.If only i had a pair of legs that worked it would be fairly easy to get standing tickets for most venues. When i booked dissabled tickets for QPR it was easy to get throughon the phones and get tickets,it goes to show that having Adam on board has helped plus its not just a greatest hits show anymore.Anywhy i have seen queen 8 times ,Roger once and Brian 4 times. So i have not done too bad and i will never forget being at the front when Queen played Milton Keynes and the final show at Knebworth, great memories.I do think that venues could up their dissabled seating though.Hope those that are going have a blast.
Philip:
It may be a weird suggestion, but, you know, the Adam Lambert fans may help you, it seems that some of them are very, VERY active in the social media and they may find a way to help.
If you are interested, you may ask a little bit of their help, Im sure they will be glad to help. If you dont know how to contact them, I may ask a few of them I know from twitter if they can provide you some assistance...
The demand for tickets in the UK is really high and as each new show is announced the tickets seem to go in few hours. Its a pity that it is a winter tour because i am sure that if they did some outdoor gigs at maybe Arsenals ground and Old Trafford many more tickets would be available and i could then get a chance to get a ticket with my care worker.I think that Brian and Roger have underesamated demand for tickets.I remember when Queen did the magic tour they played two wembley shows plus the masive Knebworth show plus other other outdoor gigs it must have been over 600,000 they played to.Another thing that has surpised me are the positive reviews i have seen for Queen Forever. On Amazon it is nearly a five star score. It seems that interest in Queen is on the up !!

If I were you, as a last resort.
Buy two standing tickets and go. If they stop u going into General Standing they will admit you to the disabled area, this is standard practice, I have seen it done. Just play dumb.
