When I first mentioned it as a part of GARTH BROOKS ' collection of covers + Greatest hits package called "BLAME IT ALL ON MY ROOTS" I was insanely intensely thrilled that an artist did such a cumulative effort citing his inspirations with a cheaply priced multidisc set.
The only problem was that it sometimes sounds like the price. Flat mixes across the board and the arrangements are all directly like the songs he is covering. So... no personal touch.
Still. It was worth $20 imho.
I like some Garth Brooks.
