Just been announced that Queen + Adam Lambert are performing exclusively live on the X Factor next Saturday evening, my guess is love kills. Will we all be tuned in ?
Nice one, I might break the habit of a lifetime and actually watch Xfactor next week, not the whole episode just the Queen+ bit....
Good to see them getting out there and doing some promotional work.
Dermot said last night that it was 'in a few weeks', and nobody tends to perform on the Saturday show but the Sunday results program. Staying on topic, the Queen versions last night were atrocious, some of the worst covers I've ever heard.

I don't get Simon Cowell, he seems to rely on Queen on the X-Factor a lot, yet I remember watching American Idol a couple of years ago, it was a 'Number 1's week' and someone sang CLTCL and said he was amazed such a poor song was number 1. He also slated Innuendo on a show. Fickle dick head. Roger should shove a drum stick up his nose and play IILWMY with his brain matter
I remember Brian May saying he never watched the xfactor because it was awful yet here
they are again perfoming on this awful show but this time it will be extra painful watching AL trying to sing!

It's all about exposure Gerry nothing more, millions of plebs watch xfactor so it makes good business sense to appear on it. There probably won't be two words spoken between Simon, Brian & Roger during filming all day. I think Brian & Roger would rather be down the pub but work is work....
Most definitely the 30th Nov, as Adam is coming back over onto UK soil, to rehearse/refresh again, the beginning of Dec..it will all tie in, before they start the European tour in Jan.
Rehearse > Christmas Break > Tour

Brian says a lot of things - he's fairly hypocritical on some issues. it's ok saying "i don't watch *****" when in fact he:
1} plucks a singer from american idol
2} Brian was quoted on queen extravaganza appearance on american idol saying "it was a very nice deal, it was a kinda gift because, you know we've worked with american idol before, and we like the guys who run it, basically they asked us if we'd come in and support their queen week..."
3} the whole queen extravaganza thing was a glorified Xfactor
