COCA-COLA INVITES THE WORLD TO “SHARE THE SOUND OF AN AIDS FREE GENERATION” AND SUPPORT (RED) Campaign Features a Special Collaboration with Wyclef Jean & Avicii, New Music from Aloe Blacc, Exclusive Remix from OneRepublic, and a Previously Unreleased Song from Queen Featuring Freddie Mercury - Download now @ link Donate to Win Special Experiences including Backstage with Bono, Join Avicii On Stage, See Queen + Adam Lambert On Tour, Spend the Day with OneRepublic & more through link ATLANTA, Nov. 3, 2014 — The Coca-Cola Company, in partnership with (RED), invites people from all over the world to join efforts to help end mother-to-child transmission of HIV with the launch of a new campaign, titled “SHARE THE SOUND OF AN AIDS FREE GENERATION”. The campaign will feature an array of top artists as they debut new music, and offer exclusive experiences encouraging people to come together, to share, and most importantly—to give. Funds raised from the campaign will go to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria to finance grants which provide HIV prevention, testing, counseling, treatment, and care services. The month-long global program which runs through World AIDS Day on December 1st, 2014, shares a message of hope and unity to empower today’s youth to understand they can be the generation to end the AIDS pandemic. 650 babies are born every day with HIV, yet life-saving medication exists and costs as little as $.40 a day. That same medication can reduce the risk of an HIV-positive woman passing on the virus to her baby by 95%. In 2013, for the first time since the discovery of the virus, more people were newly added to treatment than were newly infected with HIV, a critical milestone marking the beginning of the end of AIDS. “One of the primary goals behind the movement of this campaign is to use the power of music to rally millennials in realizing that an AIDS Free generation is within reach,” said Emmanuel Seuge, Vice President, Global Alliances & Ventures, The Coca-Cola Company. “We are grateful to all of the artists who are joining us in this remarkable effort.” New Music The campaign kicks off with the debut of Queen’s “Let Me in Your Heart Again,” a previously unreleased song, mixed by William Orbit exclusively for the (Coca-Cola) RED campaign. The song features the iconic vocals of the late Freddie Mercury, who passed from AIDS in 1991. Each week, a new artist will unveil an original song which will be available to download on iTunes with proceeds benefitting the Global Fund at link. The tracks include: - “Let Me in Your Heart Again” (William Orbit Mix) by Queen featuring Freddie Mercury (Week of November 3) - Download now @ link “It’s been 23 years since the world lost our beloved Freddie Mercury,” said Queen guitarist Brian May. “We’ve made extraordinary progress in the fight against AIDS in that time. But we cannot simply rest on the fact that the treatment is available. We must ensure that it is provided. Roger and I are proud to lend this rediscovered song to the (Coca-Cola) RED campaign, in the hope that Freddie’s powerful voice can inspire the world yet again.” Unique Experiences Coca-Cola and (RED) have partnered with OMAZE, a leading fundraising platform that specializes in offering the chance to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences that require fans to make a donation to secure a chance of winning. By visiting link, fans will be able to enter to win incredible experiences, including: - On-Stage with Queen + Adam Lambert: Queen and Adam Lambert are inviting two fans to sit on-stage for their concert at the O2 Arena London. They will also be given a VIP tour of Queen’s legendary recording studio in Montreux, Switzerland. (Omaze.com/Queen) The Coca-Cola Company is dedicated to the fight to end HIV/AIDS. Since 2006, The Coca-Cola Company and its foundations have committed over $15 million in the fight to end AIDS through awareness, education and prevention. In 2011, The Coca-Cola Company initially pledged $5 million to the Global Fund through the partnership with (RED) and has recently raised its commitment by an additional $2 million donation directly to the Global Fund. This year, Coca-Cola will leverage the size and scale of the system to rally for the cause, ultimately activating this campaign in over 40 countries worldwide. "Incredible things have happened in the fight against AIDS, bringing the pandemic to a tipping point. There is much to celebrate, but we must also renew our vow to wrestle this virus to the point it becomes part of our history not our present, said Bono, (RED) co-founder. (RED) partners like Coca-Cola are on (RED) alert this World AIDS Day to keep the pressure up, with the help of longtime AIDS activists Queen, and musicians Avicii, Deadmau5, Wyclef Jean, Aloe Blacc and OneRepublic. Music fans have been a real army in the fight against AIDS, we hope this campaign will swell the ranks.” link |

Going by the iTunes preview, de-Orbit's given this the same garbage treatment he gave the Q+MJ track. Fucking weak. |
Vali 03.11.2014 07:55 |
OMG .... thought it was impossible to repeat the TMBMTLTT atrocious crime .... but Orbit did it again ... |
Oscar J 03.11.2014 07:57 |
Isn't Orbit supposed to be a professional? This mix is an absolute joke. It's like he's actively trying to kill every trace of dynamics in every Queen song he comes across. |
LucasDiego 03.11.2014 07:58 |
Here is the mix link |
TomP63 03.11.2014 08:15 |
Well Richard, Orbit did again, he ruined it, at least to my taste. BTW: Thanks Lucas for the link. Tom |
Vali 03.11.2014 08:44 |
ho ho ho !! Lucas, thanks for the link .... my previous opinion was based on the iTunes snippet, but after listening to the complete mix ... what can be said? With the Q+MJ track we had the excuse of the Jackson Estate pushing, so in the end we got that horrible mix and blah blah blah.... but now? what's the excuse behind the once perfectionists Brian May & Roger Taylor allowing this pile of shit being released under the Queen label? poor, unimaginative and disjointed are the three first words coming to my mind to describe this ..... thing? this is horrendous..... |

Can we donate to get this OFF of iTunes? What the what are the PTB thinking when they offer up sh*te like this? |

The footage used in the video is astonishing. Long uninterrupted takes of Fred looking like a boss. The mix... meh. I think that of a lot of Queen mixes though. Anyone remember the awful Rick Rubin We Will Rock You remixes? Tripe. The song is growing on me though. |
andyb1968 03.11.2014 11:44 |
Just fucking awful !!!!!! |
MrFunster 03.11.2014 11:47 |
Horrible mix ! A complete nightmare (maybe he takes halloween a bit to serious) Queen is just another story which is too big for Orbit. Please stop him producing songs of queen.....again....! |
andyb1968 03.11.2014 13:09 |
I said in a post a while ago, when we heard Orbit was involved, it would be a nightmare......but Christ on a bike ?!!!! |
Ron 03.11.2014 13:23 |
I think it sounds a lot better than most You Dont Fool Me remixes. |
*goodco* 03.11.2014 13:39 |
^ What doesn't? Let me backtrack......there's only a handful of good remixes of their catalogue. |

How did orbit get his job? Through trial and perseverance, or nepotism? That was pretty weird. It even kept going two minutes longer when I felt relieved it was over. As if to highlight something he'd done with the music. (Just like TMBMTLTT) that was pretty bad. Thanks for sharing. I don't contribute to itunes. It's basically a host site. I prefer at least a usable mp3/wma/wav/flac file. |
dysan 03.11.2014 14:39 |
William Orbit is 10 years past his prime and 10years since he was fashionable so he's basically cutting edge to Brian and Roger. |
e-man 03.11.2014 15:47 |
bad job. really.... does anyone know how bri and rog crossed paths with Orbit? |
Apocalipsis_Darko 03.11.2014 17:45 |
At least, Rick Rubin said put ruined, because every remix by a Queen song would be ruined....He was honest! |

Instead of buying this, just donate to the charity. That way you're saved this horror on your computer but you still feel good having donated. |

link As for a remix it's not horrible. Even if the bass line is generic and 91' George Michael sounding "IWYS pt ii" Still not as bad as that godawful mix of There Must Be More To Life Than This. Managed to kill all the dynamics of two music legends. I think I'd even prefer listening to QUEEN in 8-bit, rather than Orbit." Is this a decision from Brian and Roger? |
andyb1968 04.11.2014 06:26 |
I think they lost control when they signed that Universal contract ! I'm all for keeping Queen's profile high, which seems to be the idea, but you have to do it with quality releases, otherwise they will strangle the golden goose !! |

Coca Cola is a shitty corporation. On the wrong side of everything including health. So they charity wash themselves. |
matt z 06.11.2014 22:05 |
^yep. They kill tons of people they feel are threatening their corporation in other countries. People who wish for a decent wage. And most especially UNIONIZERS. Oh. ..oh! ... THEY truly ruthlessly get killed. Unfortunately. I do give a few bucks their way every once in a while. It's a marketing axiom "sell the sizzle, Not the steak" and it works far too well in the so called western world. There IS no human element behind corporate advertising. Just dancing mascots and polar bears. You'll never hear a story about the coca cola corporation and its work in other countries |

They do battle with those fighting for GMO labeling. And promoting phosphoric acid production and consumption sucks too. Just a whole shitload of baddies from them. |
